The lobster bisque was awesome. The snapper meal was okay. The key lime pie was okay as well. The price is what it is, expensive. The view is the best part of dining here.
1. found about 6 inch long thin black curly hair in my $10 salad. And I did not tell any one because i have a guest. 2. my guest was a Muslim and she ordered a $40 small potion seafood rice, but found it was with sausage, so she didnt eat. 3. no on site parking for non hotel guest, and the manager told me yes, and found parking lot need hotel key.
Excellent sunset views! Food was quite good. Service was a bit slow.
The food and views were excellent. That being said only giving it 3 stars due to the fact it took 45 minutes to get appetizers, I mean raw oysters & ceviche - not a lot of cooking time needed for theses plates. Then the dinner took another 45 minutes. They did comp a piece of key lime pie for the wait but really all the waiting ruined what could of been a 5 star review.
We were thrilled with our breakfast here! It was included with our stay. I posted pix of the "complimentary meal" rules, since we didn't get the card upon check in and it did cause us some grief.
The food was excellently prepared. The fruit was very fresh, and the coffee just right. Our favorite was the Cajun skillet!
Calamari is fantastic, Crab cakes are good but not great, Butternut squash soup (daily soup?) is great. Ordered the mixed grill which is a small filet, small fish, shrimp and scallops. Steak was great, tuna was medium rare and delicious, I -86ed the scallops for more shrimp and they were perfect. Lavender creme brulee was amazing!
