Great hotel for a good price! I really enjoyed my stay here. The food is a little pricey, and you have to pay for many 'extras', but I must say this hotel is worth it. Service and security is pretty good as well.
Phenomenal location with spectacular views! My family and I stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The guest services were amazing. We had great food with exceptional service from our server Sylvia. The crab and mango salad is a must have! My family and I enjoyed many tourist activities right here in South Beach with the help from the local advisor at the front lobby. We celebrated my wife’s birthday on our last day of our stay on the beautiful beach! The staff was awesome and were so happy to hear we could have food service right on the beach! Our server, Victoria was wonderful. She was very informative and made sure we were well taken care of on our last day of our stay and made sure my wife had an amazing birthday. We will definitely be back to this location! We highly recommend the experience at the Royal Palm.
1st staying at the royal palm, had a awesome stay. Room was clean, staff was great. Great pool, land once you walk out of the gated pool area your Rite on the beach. There wasn’t a lot of kids at the resort, that. Was a plus for me. Also a fully stocked wet bar in the room. Perfect. A one block walk to the main strip. Right in the heart of south beach
This place was lovely and surprisingly, affordable! We opted for the ocean view room and I'm glad we did. We were on High floor and it was nice to relax on the little balcony with drinks at night and listen to the music and waves below. Comfy beds, clean amenities, friendly staff. Highly recommend this place :)
I only did a 4 rating because the pool was a little small and became shaded from other hotels around 3pm, plus the drinks at the pool were under poured and over priced (to be expected all over South Beach though).
Literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed during vacation. Do not trust security or housekeeping. I had money stolen from my personal items and housekeeping enter my room when I had a do not disturb sign on my door multiple times. The hotel manager did not do anything to help me or accommodate for what was done. I've tried to contact a manager multiple times after returning home about the progress with my case and never got a response to this day. They are careless and very unhelpful. The housekeeping did not even clean the rooms properly, left dirty towels on the floor and also went through my personal items and stole money from me. Claims for the hotel also does not help you out in anyway they want you to explain to them over and over what happened just to tell u they aren't liable for anything that happened. They considered themselves not liable for housekeeping to enter my room when there was a do not disturb sign on the door. So think twice and book with a hotel that promotes more security and protection for you and your personal belongings.
The hotel was fantastic as well as the employees working there. They are quick to be of service and were even able to get us checked in sooner than normal due to an early flight into Miami. Literally steps from the beach out the back of the hotel. Will stay again. Clean rooms with great views, just ask for them and they will do their best to help.
I was able to seek shelter at this hotel during Hurricane Irma because they welcomed my pup too. The staff was polite and attentive. The room was for the most part clean but there was a towel at the floor of the tub from the previous guest. The location is 1 block from lincoln road and it is right on the beach so its perfect for tourists. I would stay here again.
The Royal Palm seems to be separated into 2 wings one is the older 3 level wing while the other is the multi story tower. I stayed on floor 2 of the older 3-wing building. Unfortunately in this section you do not have a view of anything and the noise from the pool is quite loud, even inside the room with the door closed. Otherwise the room was decorated in a modern. Fashion and was generally comfortable. On the positive side, the rates were decent, the pool was nice, and the beach had free use of chairs and towels (umbrellas cost about 20 dollars to rentand you will need one). There is beach drink and food service which is relatively expensive, but there is a liquor store close by if you want to just bring your own. All around the Royal Palm was a cost effective means to stay on the beach and get some sun.
Nice hotel. Concierge was helpful. Staff throughout the hotel were accommodating. It is close to shopping, the beach and lots of great restaurants. Rooms were clean and smelled amazing. The noise from the renovations was constant while my family was there so I can't give it 5 stars.
Clean, nice hotel.
Good location and directly at the beach & Lincoln rd.
Good food, friendly and a full 4Star Hotel.
I can definitely recommend it.
Between Victor's Hotel and Breakwater there is no comparison. Choose this one and you are going to be happy.
Pics on the homepage looks exactly like in reality.
5* for a 4* Hotel ;-)
Top notch hotel/resort experience. Came for our national sales conference. Anthony, Bradley and Chase were amazing hosts. Can't think or anywhere else to stay when coming down to Miami beach again.
This is our second year at this hotel. The first year was definitely five stars. This year, not so much. The room could use some cleaning. Also, we had several issues throughout our stay and none of them were addressed by the hotel despite numerous requests. The A/C didn't work. The tv placement was terrible. The room was dirty. Also, after our flight was cancelled, we needed to extend our stay and the hotel was going to charge us $500 per night and that was the "best they could do." Instead, we walked next door to Loews and paid less than half of what Royal Palm tried charging. Loews was a lot nicer than Royal Palm with better amenities, a nicer room and friendlier staff.
My husband and I are currently staying here and I don't usually do reviews but I feel that one of the lovely ladies on reception defiantly deserved one her name is Ingrid and she went 100 percent above and beyond to provide a fantastic experience for myself and my husband! Yes they were having some minor renovations but she want out of her way to make sure our honeymoon in Miami was a fantastic experience, it is people like her who make the service industry amazing and I wish that all staff that we encountered at check in at other hotels were like her, thank you royal palm and Ingrid once again xxx
Would definitely stay again. It's right on the beach, with two nice pools. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond on many occasions, and even gave suggestions on where else to park. Valet is $42 a night which was outrageous, but public parking was much better. Drink and food prices are expensive, but it is South Beach and every place is the same. Service charge that others are complaining about is the tip, which every other place has as well. Could not say enough good things about the hotel. Booked through the hotels website rather than Expedia or those discount sites. It was cheaper and they treat you so much better. They even gave us an ocean view at no extra cost!
Easy to get to from the airport. Cooperative staff who was concerned with our comfort. Clean attractive rooms with comfortable beds. A busy early morning staff that prepared for the day ahead. Two pools and a beach forfun in the sun. Just north of the party scene, easy to avoid it or engage in it. Stores, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance.
