Excellent property! Clean and safe and close to Cedar Point. Great indoor pool that was clean and warm. Excellent hotel owner John is on site all the time and always takes care of any request I have. All items in room such as bedding, TV, shower etc. were clean and in good working order. A gem of a hotel for a visit to Cedar Point.

I like this place! I expected a roach motel the first time but was seriously surprised and impressed. My second stay was just as good and I will stay here more in the future, every time I want to sleep close to Cedar Point!

Typical middle of the road hotel. Clean rooms, nothing to write home about. We were traveling to Cedar Point. Would recommend to other people passing through. Polite staff, easily located, convenient.

Location is fine, close to cedar point. Service was fine, staff was friendly. Room was ok, but little things were off that made it feel cheap. Paint in bathroom was missing spots, mirror was poorly cleaned and streaky, the exhaust fan was very loud. Beds were full size beds, not very comfortable. Overall, not great, but it was a cheap place to sleep for a night.

Edit: Found an extra charge to our account that the motel staff can't account for. Either incompetence or malicious, either way we're disputing with our bank. Steer clear!

If you want a cushy room with bathrobes and a breakfast spread fit for a world traveler, this ain't it. You are renting a value room in a budget motel. I've stayed here about half a dozen times and apart from one night with a funky smell coming from the A/C unitI've never had issues with dirty sheets or bedbugs, etc. The owner/manager has always been very courteous and responsive when I've needed to make requests.

The walls are thin, the rooms can be a little musty, the bathrooms could use some TLC, but $45 for a hotel with an indoor pool, 2 double beds, and a shower just around the corner from the entrance to Cedar Point? I think you catch the drift. If you want a Holiday Inn, pay for a Holiday Inn. If you want a decent place to shower and crash without dropping $80-$100 (at least) this is the place to do it.

Also, if you're traveling with a large group, this hotel offers HUGE family sized rooms with 4 beds and for half of what other hotels in the region would charge.

Clean enough and always has renovations happening. We've stayed in every motel Sandusky has to offer. This is hands down the best stay for the money. Bring your own food. There's no continental brkfst. But they do provide coffee and juice.
Pool will be closed this winter 2016, but it's usually open all year.

The staff is great. Rooms are slowly being redone. They have new carpet. They have new locks. This is an inexpensive place to crash right near the entrance to Cedar Point. Beds and pillows are not extravagant. TV is small, but at least there's cable. I've had worse. I've had better. For the money, it is reasonable. Internet stinks. Toilets hard to flush.

Roadway inn north was a horrid experience. The floor is so dirty that it makes your socks black, there is almost not hot water, and the lamps and TV are falling apart. Plus, the safe in the room doesn't work. The only good things about this place is the free WiFi, and the pool. If you are going very cheap, just go to the other roadway inn in Sandusky. 2 star experience? More like a 1.
