Great place to see a show. Two levels and a roof top bar. A bar on every level. Second level is pretty busy after the show. Was pretty packed on a Saturday night. Had A DJ after the show. Good bar food. Roof top bar has igloos to stay cozy in on those cold winter nights. Special winter drinks to help keep you warm. Heaters also near the bar area to keep you comfortably warm.

The Rock & Roll Hotel is a great club in the thriving H Street corridor. Good bands at reasonable prices in a smaller venue. Gives you the chance to get up close to bands that you won't have the same chance with a year from now.

I welcome any and all music venues in DC. Rock & Roll Hotel was one of the early venues to populate this up and coming bohemian H street, NE area North of the Capitol. Many more establishments have rooted themselves here now that the trolley line is running. If I said they spared no expense in creating this venue, it would be the opposite of the truth, however that's the beauty of it. It's got that old DC feel you can only experience in converted rowhouses and warehouses. Sure, it's not The Hamilton, but DC, like so many other cities, has experienced a lot of high $$ development in residential, restaurants, retail, etc. It's hard to find the grunge anymore, no disrespect intended. The venue was full on the night I went, but I was still able to order a drink at the bar in reasonable time.

this place is horrible. why they even have an email is beyond me. they don’t respond to any of your questions, concerns, they don’t care if you’re trying to reiterate the rules. they’re more active on twitter than they are on their emails. they were finally open today so i called them and it went straight to voice mail. the owner is also incredibly rude, as you can see below me, instead of being professional, they’ve chosen to be a petty child because someone doesn’t (rightfully) like the way they run their business. this venue is everything that a venue SHOULDN’T do.

Probably the worst place to see a concert that I've ever been to. Unless you're against the stage or like 3 people back, good luck actually seeing the band. Why anyone would want to see a how here is beyond me. Save your money and see that band you like in another city, you'll be happy you did.

Cozy concert venue. The sound is actually good, at least for metal. The rooftop bar is a great plus and the people working there are very friendly. The rooftop is also open even if there are no shows, and definitely worth a visit any day.

Great club hosting fantastic rock and metal groups on the reg. The bar is well stocked and not overly expensive. With three floors, this place is fun no matter what - head up to the rooftop and get a few brews under the sun, or stars.

The rock and roll hotel is tiny, claustrophobic, and swelteringly hot. The shows there are generally almost always sold out and it's tough to get there by metro. That said, it's one of the best venues I've been to. Bartenders are quick and know how to keep the night going, the crowds are generally wonderful and the upstairs bar is a great spot even without the live music. Definitely go to a show here.

Been here twice now. Bar and food is great for a venue. Id almost go here for the bar if it wasn't a venue! But the sound system lacks something. It's loud but very bass heavy. Also the doormen take their time letting people in. They started the show without having everyone inside yet. And the other time I came the show was delayed by a whole hour, so they cut set times short. Maybe I picked two bad days to go but these situations were disappointing for me.

The hotel is a very comfortable place to stay, the employees are friendly and alert. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu is not so special, but enough to fill the stomach. The atmosphere outside the lobby has a fairly strong wind gusts. I recommend to choose this hotel.
