Expensive food, slow uncaring service if you aren't a regular. Watched completely different service level for regulars and those of us their the first time. Limited choices, small portions. Wife and I both felt ill after wards. Steer clear of this one. Too bad, cool theme, lost opportunity.

I love Roadside! Glad it's close to Sylvan lake where progressive dining options are limited. Good drinks, great fish and comfort foods. The short rib hash I had for brunch last week was amazing.
My wife and I would eat here more if the vegetarian option was more extensive and creative. The same burritos have been on the menu forever and while its an Ok option, I don't see how it fits the theme of the restaurant. It feels more like an after thought
Even as a avid carnivore, even I have learned to judge a restaraunt by how creative the Chef is with vegetarian specials or entrees. It signifies the food I order will be better and more creative.
If the options are salad and a Mexican dish or stir fry. I will probably look for a different restaraunt.
    It's food for thought.
I think Roadside does a killer job on the dishes I order, but leaves my other half asking to travel past to more progressive dining options in Ferndale and Detroit.

Nice place from the road. Inside was nothing special. It felt as though the restaurant wasn't fully aware of identity. Didn't have beers on draft and the wait staff was really disconnected with our table.

Great atmosphere. You feel tucked away even though you're right off telegraph. I liked the veg burrito!

Great drink selection, but they don't have any beer on tap. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.

Roadside B&G is one of my favorite Bill Roberts restaurants. The food is excellent and well-prepared. The wait staff is experienced and well-trained. A nice selection of wine and Cocktails that are prepared by experienced bartenders. The environment is casual and includes outdoor seating that is seasonal. This is a very popular restaurant.

Phenomenal ribs and Brussels sprouts!! The baby back ribs were crispy and individually cut, I've never had ribs like that before. The sauce was great too. The bread is buttered biscuits and they are great, especially fresh out of the oven. We also had Michigan cherry salad and tomato soup to start, both very good and worth getting. Cozy atmosphere. Good service. Will be coming back
