I have stayed at this hotel numerous time over the last few years I see they recently put a new furniture in flat screen TVs finally The location is great and the staff is always friendly I see people give it a bad review but I've always had good luck there I do admit that the hotel the little bit old and could use a little bit of a facelift but for the money I paid it's well worth it to stay .
I highly recommend this place if you want to sleep with rats, roaches, and bedbugs! Drugs and prostitutes everywhere! 3 deaths from drug overdose in 1 week. Holes in the floors and walls. Air dont work half the time. Don't dare ask to be moved to a diffrent room. It will be worse than the one you're in. Everything is is nasty, carpet, beds. The pool is really nice though. P.S. pictures must be from when it first opened!!!
Not sure how I could give anything other than a bad review dirty pool first night cops were busy with two separate rooms, then as I get up for work at 5 am two separate loud and very vulgar couples are fighting in the parking lot . My family and I stayed seven nights because we have had financial difficulties however I made no complaints to the staff nor did we cause any problems that caused any complaints about us but on the last day my six year old son made a very six year old decision two climb the four foot fence into the pool area even though the gate was unlocked ok but then the manager comes over and tells him not to do I agreed apologizing when the manager tells me if my son was hurt I would be the first one in court to sue them! I was very insulted so I told him he didn't know me nor did he have a right to make such a bold assumption only to have him repeat himself at which point I told him to watch his mouth and demanded an apology only for him to walk away!! If I wasn't raising my kids to turn the other cheek I would have not been so forgiving this place is by far the dirtiest most run down motel I've stayed in and all though most of the staff was polite they were not very helpful with anything other than apologizing
Very nice motel and very friendly people here the housekeeper Tiffany was wonderful and great customer service because of her I will be coming back when I'm in town
Great place if you don't want to die from heat. Twice now I have checked in here and my air conditioning has not worked. Last time they had to move me to a new room this time I gave them one more day to get it fixed
Rooms are old, Wi-Fi only works sporadically, Ice machine broken, phone in room doesn't work, remote doesn't work, soda machine is empty. I we stayed for a couple weeks on fema after Irma they were charging fema 90 a night and put all fema people in the back. They act as if they are doing you a favor and reprimand guests over everything it is very ghetto ish and though I've asked to be moved to a room with Wi-Fi and a phone repeatedly they refuse as they want to keep front rooms for guests paying 60 a night Go figure. I I'll never stay there again
This is the worst place I have ever seen. I was there in room 102 September 16.2017. We are here from FEMA. The front desk checked us in to a room that had not been serviced yet (3:00 pm). I was told room service would be around shortly. The fridge didn't work, the door had a space in it big enough that I stuck my finger under the door, the phone was broken, the bathroom floor tile was missing and had exposed wood, the cabinets were gone and replaced by plywood and was painted pink (Only halfway, the other half was raw wood), there looked to be human fecal matter on the bathroom floor between the wall and toilet. I go back to the front desk at 5 to ask about room service, again was told it would be there shortly. At 9:00 pm I go in and ask again and was told by the same person that I would now not be getting room service because they leave at 2:00 pm. So now the room is still dirty from the previous renters and they are expecting us to stay. I had my 2 year old daughter with us. I asked if I could just get clean sheets so we could at least try to get some sleep. About two hours later the sheets showed up. We changed them to find he Mattress COVERED IN BLOOD! They charge FEMA $92 a night for this room. We checked out immediately that morning. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE. I didn't have my phone to take pics.
Needed a place to stay until we could return home due to hurricane displacement. I thank FEMA for the help, but the beds we slept on looked like people were killed there. Stained and filthy beyond anything I ever seen in my life. Ants crawling everywhere. I definitely searched for bed begs thank God nothing was visible to to my eye. I am going to sleep in my with my kids the next 2 nights rather this place. That tells you how nasty. Drug dealers and dirty hookers this is a place for you! Sorry to the staff, but up your standards and you will have better care taken of your rooms by guests and a place familys feel safe to stay.
Unprofessional and unkept hotel. Had no choice to stay 1 night during a hurricane and no vacancy at any decent hotel in town. Paid $92.00 for 1 night stay in a room with NO fridge, or microwave. Room was dirty, phone was simply there for decoration placed on a nightstand not connected. Doors barely closed, ac did not get cold enough and the staff couldnt care less. They are rude, combative, and just want to get rid of you offering no solutions or direction in which to resolve any issue. Would NEVER stay here againPrice gouging during a hurricane in a run down hotel to top it off. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY
The A/C was mighty noisey. Room was clean and pleasant. Was a handicapped room. A little hard negotiating the parking spot as it was inclined. Very reasonably priced. The staff were all very pleasant. I'd surely stay there once again.
Quaint, fun decor, friendly service & great food. We had a turkey club & a grilled chicken wrap, and both were yummy!
Rooms are dirty. Filled with sketchy tenants. Would never recommend.
Staff has been awesome and the breakfast is decent always the same thing but on the same hand its always the same thing pools cleans rooms are decent
Visited a family member. The room was clean and had been maintained moderately. The price paid was decent for the room.
Horrible pillows! (One felt like it was stuffed with ping pong balls. The bedraggled clerk did exchange it with one from an unoccupied room but we still couldn't get an extra pillow.) But the bed was comfortable and the room clean, and good hot water - although the towels were small thin & scratchy.
