Avoid. Our cottage was dismal. Hugely overgrown bushed hid a dilapidated house. It was a duplex; the other half had a hole in the roof, with a tarp over it, though the manager told us it was rented out. The furniture is smelly and nasty, all clearly thrift-store finds. The couch was missing a leg, and a cinderblock was used instead. The beds were very hard - a single smelly mattress on a homemade platform made of 2x6's and plywood.

The clincher though was the rat poison. We had pushed off the comforter in the middle of the night, and when we awoke, we found that rat poison was hidden in between the mattress and the bed "frame". It was now scattered all over the floor, about 1/2 cup in tiotal. We took our dog and toddler and requested a refund.

The place gets a star for service - there was no argument about the refund, and we were on our way.
