I have been going to NHVH since I moved here from California in 2003. I have always found Dr Marcus to be pleasant, honest, and extremely good with the animals. I have had a variety of vets there work on my cats over the years, and have always been happy with them, even at times when the result was very tough to go through. But I want to especially call out Dr. Struening. I remember her some years back working there as a tech and now she is there as a vet, which is wonderful. Last night she made a house call for us after an extremely long day for her (and for us). Our cat needed to be put to sleep and I just couldn't bear having to put him in a cage and bring him to the emergency hospital. Dr Struening came to our house and was as kind and compassionate as you could imagine. She allowed my beloved Beilstein to pass peacefully surrounded by things and people that he loved and was comfortable with. That kind of service is hard to come by these days. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly

I have been going to New Hope for 40 yrs plus
All the staff are so helpful, and are so kind.
They always have a smile on their faces,and are always go beyond to help you.
No matter what the reason is, situation is, they go out of their way. The Doctors are very caring. Dr Marcus, is very caring, and has helped me with my dogs no matter what it is.
When you ask for them to call you, they do.

Had a very unpleasant experience with Dr Marcus. The way he spoke to me was not only rude, but unprofessional. I found the rest of the staff to be friendly, but will not go back because of the poor treatment and service we received.

Everyone, and I mean everyone from Drs John and Sean, Kate and the front desk administration, and the vet techs, go the extra step in caring for our beloved tail-wagging family members. It makes a tremendous difference for our entire entourage to feel the authenticity of the compassion and understanding as well as the knowledge and experience. Paws up for New Hope Veterinarian Hospital!
