Having visited this restaurant a few times, we are never disappointed by the food or the service. We absolutely love RigaTony's! Yesterday night was no exception. We came in and had a wonderful dinner and with kids was in such a hurry to get out, forgot our leftovers. I went back in to see our table already cleared and was approached by the server and told it was thrown away. As he was apologizing, Mike the manager, walked by and heard. I told him it was fine but he insisted on making me my dish over. I only mention my meal (the other was a kids meal and soup) but when he came out he had made my meal, kids meal, soup and even threw in bread & salad! Having worked in the restaurant business I was so impressed with how he treated his customers. Not only do they have some of the best Italian food I've ever had but they go above and beyond to provide you with a great dining experience. Thank you Mike and the RigaTonys crew, we will be seeing you soon!

We went a bit early for dinner, skipped lunch in favor of a movie. I've been before for lunch, which has always been terrific. Ordered the rigatoni which comes with Italian sausage or chicken. As I have many times, I ordered it half sausage and half chicken. They were very confused and came to the table THREE times to ascertain;
1. Did I really mean one order of each? No.
2. Did I want it all mixed up? Sure.
3. Did I want the sausage on one side and the chicken on another? I don't care any more. Just bring something.
By this time we were all starved, full of salad and bread and just wanted to go. Waited some more. They finally brought the meal, my husband's was cold. Sent it back and instead of just warming it as requested, they remade it. The kids were tired of all the messing about so we asked for containers and left.
All in all a very akward birthday dinner.response / report this review -

Good italian restaurant to go with the family. I love their available substitutions (gluten-free, whole wheat, green beans) for pasta. It's a bit pricey for a family of 4, but we try to split up meals when there. We love the bottomless salad. The service is always great. The only drawback is that there's a wait almost every day at any time. I guess it's that popular.

Great customer service. I put in catered order 4 days in advance of a family event. When I arrived to pick it up my order it wasn't ready and they had no record of the order. The hostess contacted the manager who asked a few questions. I told the manager what I had ordered. He assured me the kitchen would get on it right away. The order was ready in about 20 minutes. The manager ended up finding my original order and compensated the entire order. The food was well prepared and enjoyed by all.

Absolutely fantastic! The service was great! The good was outstanding! They make anything you want because I wanted the dish the way I wanted it, and they do "whatever the customer wants!" Just friendly and an enjoyable place to have a nice dinner! Reasonably priced, too! Authentic Italian food!

Enjoyed Riga Tony's special filled me up. The sauce was sweet, if you like that. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing, reminds me of a smaller Olive Garden with better food.

We came here for a business lunch event. They personalized our menu to the person we did a farewell for so that was a very nice touch. The owner/manager came to check on us personally which was also exceptional. Food was delicious, you will fill up on bread and salad since they were both so good so watch out! Many in my party had the Baked RigaTony pasta, it was delicious.

Love this place! One of my favorite gems in Tempe. It's a little pricey, but the food is incredible. We always tend to over order there, the food just sounds too good, but also you get such delicious bread and antipasto that I personally tend to be almost full by the time my food comes 😂. You can tell they really cook their food, it's not some frozen, highly salted stuff. I love taking people here. Oh and you gotta have the tiramisu It's perfection. Seriously.

I only try Italian restaurants once every couple of years because having spent a couple years living in Italy I'm fairly picky when it comes to Italian food and I can usually cook it much better myself. My wife suggested RigaTony's because we were on a time crunch and it was close and highly rated so we gave it a shot. I probably won't go back as the food was nothing special, although I'm sure many others will find the food just fine. Now for the service I would give that 5 stars. They were super friendly and available and because it was our first time the waiter gave us a free dessert. Again take this with a grain of salt because there are a lot of people who really like the food here.
