We came with a large party and made reservations ahead of time, so they knew we were a large group. We waited 2 hours for our food, the food was not good and cooked poorly, the service was awful. The worst of it was went one member of our party went to talk to the manager, he was very calm and was explaining our displeasure with the service she had he gull to yell at him and was very unprofessional. I was a very disappointing experience.

Always a seat available. Food is medium good to good. Service is usually good. Musical entertainment is fun and usually quite good.

I had one bartender that was amazing (Nicole) and another girl that took care of me but one of the girls at the main bar I could not get service off of her all night. She was dancing and talking to other other patrons all night but giving zero service to any walk up customers.

The place is usually relatively quiet. Sometimes service can be a little slow, even if you are one of only a few people there. The food is hit or miss, but overpriced none the less.

The band was pretty good and I enjoyed the music. The service wasn't really anything you could describe as "service" as the people employed there didn't seem to be concerned with taking or delivering food or drinks. I eventually got us drinks at the bar. I liked the atmosphere, but be warned eat and drink prior to arriving, because although the band may be worth the cover fee, you won't receive any service here!

Still going strong after many decades, so they must be doing something right. While not fancy and upscale, Rick's is a spacious venue with a full service bar and frequent live entertainment. Their stage is large, front and center with a moderate dance floor. And with your drinks, they have a decent food menu.
