I wish I could give two reviews, one for the food and one for the service. The food was fantastic. In fact, the service was great until the end of the meal. Everyone at my table was finished except me. I was clearly still eating and the waiter started taking my plate away. I told him I wasn't done and he put it back on the table. Five minutes later, another waiter did the same thing to me. After that, our original waiter came back and left the check on the table. Never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. It was 8:30 Sunday night, I guess they were in a hurry to go home.

Might be the best Portuguese restaurant in the area. Sangria is great and food is always on point. Service is top notch. Pro tip: Call for reservations - this place gets packed quick!

I have been coming to Ria Mar for many years I am so fortunate enough that I live in walking distance. My family and I have had many celebration parties at Ria Mar. Rui and the staff are wonderful. The food is amazing and well priced. This is my favorite Portuguese restaurant. We have many more celebrations to look forward to at Ria Mar

This is a very nice restaurant, the food is excellent and the service staff are very attentive. I had the chicken in garlic, it was very good, the chicken is pounded very thin and the garlic sauce is nice an light. My friends had the paella, they said it was excellent. You can't go wrong here.

First time visit, good atmosphere, excellent Sangria. Appetizers were delicious (grouper bites and garlic shrimp) but the Portuguese steak entree was like shoe leather. Charred on the outside and stone cold in the center. Wives stuffed shrimp was average. Other than the Sangria there was nothing that would make me want to go back anytime soon. Staff was very friendly and saved them from a two star review.

Delicious Portuguese food, large portions at reasonable prices. Service is impeccable. Friendly and attentive without hovering, very professional and polite. Tables cleared nicely between courses, drinks refreshed. This kind of warm but efficient service is not often seen and greatly appreciated.

Great Food. Great Cocktails. Great Personality.
The Clams with Garlic Sauce and Steak Ria Mar are on Point.
    Frankie, the bartender was awesome.
We were running late, and they left the kitchen open for us.
    Superb first experience.
    I will definitely return soon!

They steak, ordered medium rare came out beyond well done- shoe leather tough. Had to send it back. Ordered a shrimp dish which was bland. Daughter ordered a veal dish which camber out wrong. The waiter must have known by the puzzled look on his face. Back it went. The correct dish was brought out and was pretty good. I had a baccala dish which was mostly salty and not well seasoned. With lots of good Portuguese places around, I'd pick one of those.

My go-to Portuguese since I was young visiting family where my father first immigrated to America Still my favourite San gria huge portions and tasty traditional Portuguese cuisine can be salty for those not used to this sort of food friendly service and delicious everytime I have been going for last 20 years and never have been disappointed

Our first time in and we were very happy with all.of the food. I had a great NY strip and the wife and others had seafood all very good as well. I have lived in the area for a while and am sorry we did not go sooner. We will be back! Nice family place I would take my wife here for date night.

The banquet hall is pretty and the bar was good, sangria is very good. The food during cocktail hour was OK. I ordered the steak for the main dish and it was very bad, dry and tasteless. Everyone who ordered the steak, didn't finish it.

Delicious! doesn't matter what you are ordering it's delicious. I have never had a bad thing from this restaurant in the past 20 years I've lived in the area. & I couldn't even venture to guess how many times I've eaten from here (just about 80% of local events are catered from here & almost every awards ceremony is held here ) Also this place is just as good for a 1st date as it is for grabbing a bite before going out on a Friday night with the boys..
Be careful the sangria is sneaky.. hahaha
