Via45 Restaurant is a gem in downtown Red Bank. The place has a great vibe, the food is fresh and prepared deliciously. The staff is lovely and knowledgeable. Owners /Chefs Claudette and Lauren are outstanding.

We have been coming to Via 45
for the better part of four years and every meal has been a wonderful experience. Everything is freshly prepared and the menu changes on a daily basis. The service is superb and it's great that it's a BYOB Restaurant. Always try to save room for dessert. A great dining experience.

This place is such a charming and delicious experience. I adore the menu being seasonal, it showcases the best of the season and the chef's abilities! Byob is an added bonus. Only downside is that when you love your dinner it may not be offered the next time but variety is exciting!

As a life long resident of the area, Via 45 is still my favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, yet not confined. The meals are prepared fresh daily, with quality ingredients. A favorite meal can be requested days ahead. I find it is the best location to appreciate those in our life and the connections made over a great meal.

This was my 1st time at via45 after seeing many great reviews. I must eat gluten free and they were extremely accommodating! They offer gluten free bread, pasta, breadcrumbs, dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Food takes a while to arrive because it is made to serve. I would rather wait longer for fresh, delicious food. Highly recommend for anyone who likes high quality food.

Some might say this place had character. Every table was different. They looked like what you might scout from flea markets. The waitresses could be your nice neighbors. It felt "homey".

Their menu was a sheet of handwritten copy and changed regularly, but not easy to read for me. Their food also felt homemade. Presentation left something to be desired. But flavor was good. I still did not understand why it was popular and its reservation hard to get. I preferred to have something more refined when I ate out.

My boyfriend made a reservation here for my birthday. I was excited to try it as I typically love places like this.

We both work/worked in restaurants so we are very perceptive of things that go right and wrong while dining out.

Started off with the server not pouring our wine, just opening it and leaving it on the table. The menu was barely legible and was very limited. I chose the nights special of medium rare skirt steak. It took OVER 60 MINUTES for them to deliver a medium rare steak and RAW potatoes and broccoli. My boyfriend got a chicken breast that was average.

Overall the experience was terrible. We won't be returning. When the server asked how things were and I told her the steak was below rare and cold she offered to take it back to the kitchen for a "minute" which in Via 45 language means an hour. She never checked on us once in the 60+ minutes we waited for our food. Not so much as refreshed our glasses or offered us more bread or apologized for the 60 minute wait on an entree without an appetizer. Mind you it was an 8:30 reservation on a Wednesday. What happens on a Friday night I don't want to know!!! We were 1/4 tables in the whole place, and I heard the table next to us freaking out too.

Unless you are looking to shave some precious time off your valuable lives, pick somewhere else to dine out. There are plenty of "farm to table" places that respect their guests more than Via 45.
