Incredible atmosphere and vibe. Cocktails were perfectly adequate. Apps were excellent. Service was fine. Risotto was weak. Salmon was really good. The brownie was literally outstanding, probably best I’ve ever had. Overall a little pricy but super.

What a beautiful old building! Feels like it carries a lot of personality. Sat outside and ordered everything on that menu. It was all delicious! Ended with the salmon which was perfectly cooked. Also a nice wine selection as well as good recommendations from the staff. Our waiter was fantastic as well, visiting often and making sure our glasses stayed full.

Hands down my favorite bar in Monterey. Been there on dates, with a group of friends, Halloween party, and after Navy Day Ball. I can come in jeans or a gown and it still be appropriate. It's hard to find a place that will make a good whiskey flip. I love sitting by the fireplace (inside and outside) and sip on cocktails with great company. I have never eaten here though.

The restaurant is stylish, definitely not what I was expecting (gloomy vibe). I expected the food to be pricey but there were limited options. However the food choices I made were out of my comfort zone and quite delicious. The drinks were pretty tasty, the desserts were more simple but still tasted great. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Great for a cocktail before dinner. They have lovely outdoor seating around firepits, makes for a nice chill hang-out. Drink menu is different every time I go, and that's a good thing, there's always something new and interesting to try.

Great out of the way restaurant with the best salmon dish I've ever had. They must have a full time mixologist b/c the unique drinks were full of flavor with distinct notes

High-end restaurant / bar. Plates cost upwards of $50.00 on average, so reserve a table ahead of time for a special occasion. Otherwise, the bar and bartenders are both fantastic. The bar-top some kind of translucent stone, and back-lit, which is a gorgeous effect. They serve absinthe tastefully (by not lighting it on fire, thank you!), and alcohol is priced reasonably. Fire pits outside are especially nice, weather permitting.

Took half an hour just to get someone to take an order for water. Incredibly small portions. Taste is just average. No good reason to go there.

Pros: by far one of the most flavorful restaurants I have ever been to. Every bite of every appetizer and meal is loaded with incomparable flavor from any other high end restaurant and each item is very unique to this restaurant. The drink menu is vast and the bartenders are definitely top notch. The inside and outside of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful.

Cons: if you're planning a surprise such as a birthday or an engagement be sure not to tell the staff when making your reservation. Our waiter ruined the surprise at the beginning of the meal by asking our party who was getting engaged. While attempting to make a reservation the staff was extremely rude. One staff member answered and hung up the phone and another one had to get assistance and call back later to make a reservation. Since when does it take 3 staff members to make a reservation? Also as mentioned this is definitely a high end restaurant. You can tell by the way it is set up, the menu, the pricing, and the attire of all the guests. But the servers seem severely out of place walking around in blue jeans and sneakers. Overall the staff here, with the exception of the bartender, ruined the experience for me. Training needs to be conducted and maybe a couple of changes to the way this place operates.
