Superb Stay in all aspect! This is so unusual, we came to Wake Forrest and stay at this Residence Inn and it was clean, spotless, well equip two bedrooms and splendid indeed. Front desk was well trained and knowledgeable and delightful as well as the entire staff. Breakfast was great. This hotel is still improving. However, the other one on Hanes Mall Blvd, needed to close down and re-open with new staff. We'll definitely return to stay at this particular hotel. They made everything just right.
I've only been here once I had to use it as a dayroom so to speak because of a tour I was on we just use the showers because the venue we were at did not have showers. It was a decent place however the rooms were not all that clean. But the staff was extremely nice and helpful with anything we needed.
I give this place an 3Star. Myself, wife and 5kids came here for thanksgiving, we been without an Kitchen for over 18months. So, we decided to come here and cook thanksgiving dinner, and I'm happy for that. We had 2rooms,412 and 421. 421the bathroom have mold in the shower, shower curtain was nasty, I didn't want to start any issues because I'm piss off for not having an Kitchen and I didn't want to take it out on anyone. The bed in this room was horrible couldn't sleep. Meanwhile the room in 421 was very clean, and looks a whole lot better, my kids had no complaints. The staff was friendly, and professional, especially the older lady at the breakfast bar who went out her way to help. If it wasn't for the mold in the bathroom and that horrible bed, I would've rated this place a 4 Start, then added and extra one for the convenience of stores and how close they are. Note: I believe the environment is safe.
Convenient location. Felt safe. Parking close to room. Clean, well maintained room. Comfortable bed considering back issues. Full hot breakfast. Personable, helpful breakfast attendant. Welcome and inviting. Enjoyed our weekend stay. Will definitely stay here again!
My family and I came to Wake Forest and stayed at this Residence Inn and was extremely happy we did. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The rooms were very clean, spacious and impressive with a kitchen. Staying at this Marriott was very calm and peaceful, we just love this location, with pizza and other food within walking distant, as well as a new Police Department across the street.. The upstairs breakfast ladies and breakfast was awesome! The exterior and the surrounding property was well kept, with red roses all around the grounds. The front desk staff gave us great directions and also gave my kids equipment for the tennis and basketball court. We will definitely return to stay at this Residence Inn University.
The couch in our room has seen better days or I would have given this Inn FIVE stars!
The breakfast BUFFET was spectacular and the ladies attending the food bars were perfect examples of FIRST CLASS Southern Hospitality, and they give out free hugs too! The food choices were wide, fresh, and hot.
I was here for months for work. The check in process is fast but lacked some important information. I asked about car break-ins and they said there were none but a couple of months later mine was broken into and the front bumber was hit the following week. I was told that there was nothing that could be done since there are no cameras. I was also given a hard time about moving rooms. A colleague also said that his car was broken into right before I came. Later I found someone's personal cards thrown down the street and took it to the front desk because i knew someone had their car broken into, which was true. The front desk staff is decent but not always friendly. However, the restaurant staff is always delightful and efficient. The rooms are old with smelly carpet. Depending on who cleans your room, you may not get a full cleaning without leaving a note. Walking distant to some junk food, coffee, ice cream, and a little shopping like Burlington Coat Factory which is burguralized often. Apparently the apartments behind the hotel have a high crime rate and we have heard gun shots. Also, the intersection can be a bit busy. I am also a platinum member and have had to constantly inquire about an upgrade.
Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Tia at the front desk was very nice, and checked in to make sure the room was acceptable. Good amenities it seemed, though didn't have a chance to use them this trip.
Everything was great. Rooms were clean and the staff were nice.
Decent breakfast but limited seating. Room was okay, sheets would not stay on bed, the foldout sleeper blocked off the front door from the rest of the room. Good location, clean.
Older, but clean and quiet. Nice staff and facilities. Would stay there again!
Great location near Wake Forest University and they have an excellent staff. The breakfast crew provides amazing service.
They do take good care of the rooms, make sure your car is locked at night, and all important things out of it.
I would give it a 4 star except that the subfloors between rooms are not sound insulated at all. Every step the people upstairs took sounded like they would crash thru the floor. I hardly slept at all. Otherwise it is a lovely resort with pretty plantings, great food and clean rooms.
I've stayed here like a second home because of work. The check in process is fast and pleasant. After that, the front desk staff is decent but not overly friendly. The restaurant staff is always delightful and efficient. The rooms are great. Depending on who cleans your room, you may not get a full cleaning without leaving a note. Friendly and safe area. Walking distant to some food, coffee, ice cream, and a little shopping like Burlington Coat Factory. The intersection can be a bit busy.
