Overall clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. I love that they have a kitchenette with plates, glasses, and cookware in my room. Beds are okay.

This hotel is a bit dated, but the staff is very nice and I enjoyed my stay. Having separate rooms for sleeping vs working at a desk or watching TV is much more enjoyable than everything squeezed into a signed room. The room also had a kitchen area which can help you save if you'd rather not eat out every night.

Nice staff. Parking and check-in were easy. Evening specials - beers, wines, snacks were wonderful.
But - maintenance of my room is close to unacceptable. Strange stringent smell that wouldn’t go away with four windows open for over three hours. Fridge is old and smells terrible. Not sure if they are trying to cover up the smell with air freshener. But whatever it is - it’s potent and bad. Made my eyes tear up. I called front desk and learned that it is a pet-friendly hotel. Deep cleaning is performed after pets leave. That explains my issue - as I am allergic to cats.
Guest with pets - bring your pet.
Guests allergic to pets - stay away. It stinks. Honestly.response / report this review -

2 Stars only because the staff was great to work with. I checked into my room late and their was animal fur all over the couch and desk. I phoned the front desk and asked them to clean it. I came back after a long day with a client and not only had they not cleaned my room as requested, they hadn't even serviced the room for the day. It took another phone call and was resolved the 3rd and final day of my stay.

The location of this Residence Inn is very convenient -- right off the freeway, where two major freeways cross. The room we had was a studio -- with a complete kitchenette. The rate was really the reason we stayed at this location -- very good value for the quality. I feel very much at home, only better because of the free housekeeping. There is an indoor pool, and outside there is a basketball court. Because we stayed two nights, they gave us free breakfasts (buffet style). The staff was very nice and professional. I would probably stay here again.

Amazing!!! Indoor pool, basketball court and big workout room. Computer to use and free breakfast! Free high speed wifi and only $5 a day for extra high speed. Sometimes hard to connect but they give you a number, you call and they fix it. 3 floors and a little shop. Nice staff and you can call the front desk for anything and they'll help if they can. Definitely recommend

Interior from lobby to rooms are all very current and modern. Free breakfast had the unique offering of biscuits and gravy. (not sure if I've seen that before). The lobby seems to be quite the hang out spot. Every time we passed through, there were always several groups of people just hanging out and relaxing.

The person at the front desk was extremely friendly! She made me feel very comfortable recommended a restaurant that I can eat at. She also gave me a choice of which floor I would like to have my room on

We had a decent experience at the hotel but I have to leave one star due to the terrible customer service. When I was booking online, the date was mixed up and I inadvertently booked a Wednesday instead of a Saturday. It was too late to cancel by the time I got my reservation confirmation, so the hotel charged me for the night. I called to reserve again for Saturday and asked if they might reimburse part or all of Wednesday. The hotel would not reimburse any part of the Wednesday reservation despite the fact we stuck with them and booked Saturday.
I contacted the hotel later to inquire about their reasons for refusing to reimburse at least some of our payment for Wednesday, and the hotel manager provided no explanation aside from their policy not to reimburse unless the room is cancelled 24 hours prior to the stay. If they had to turn someone away that night due to our reservation, I would understand the manager not wanting to provide a refund, but the hotel was nowhere near capacity while we were there on a weekend so I doubt it was full in the middle of the week.
I reached out to the Residence Inn parent company, Marriott, since part of the problem stemmed from the booking process on their website, but they relied on the hotel manager to make any determination for refunds. In the end this comes down to a greedy hotel manager who pocketed a hundred and fifty dollars without having to do any of the work associated with providing the hotel room (service, cleaning, amenities, etc.) Was it worth it for Marriott to lose a lifetime of future stays and positive recommendations?
Overall, this is a decent hotel that could be a lot better with appropriate management. In the meantime I suppose I'll be choosing Hilton or Starwood
For what it's worth, the indoor pool was nice (although it was heavily chlorinated) because it was cold outside, and the breakfast spread was good as well.response / report this review -

What a lifesaver!!! We are not from this area and booked a different hotel that was a total disaster, the filthiest hotel I have ever seen in my life. The Residence Inn at Marriott helped us get a room earlier than the normal check-in time and accommodated us in every single way! And their breakfast was amazing!!!! 5-Stars all the way! The person we booked with on the phone (Jacky) went above and beyond our expectations!!! Thank you Jacky!!! You are a LIFESAVER!!!!

Two or three times a year, my wife and I stay here and enjoy it very much. The place is clean, the food is good (breakfast is included!) and we get great service. The one nice change recently is that they have real silverware rather than the plastic. Great improvement.
