I loved to stay here. It's cozy and they truly have GREAT customer service. And they give you DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies (at least when I went) hope they still have them. You can walk the port and it is nicely decorated. Oh and free wifi

Always a Hilton fan! Great rooms and exceptional front desk! We were there over Thanksgiving. The wait staff was fairly pissy, probably because they had to work that day, definitely in appropriate and not customary for the Hilton. Rooms were clean comfortable, temperature was self controlled, bathrooms were great, facilities were good meeting your normal Hilton expectations.

Rating for meetings only, not lodging. Staff was helpful and available, even if a bit too self-assured about what customer needs would be without listening first. Everything needed was provided however, without hassle and promptly. Marina views and free parking made for pleasant experience. A bit out of the way but not hard to find. Didn't eat here except for signature cookies in lobby.

Beautiful location, spacious room (King suite) with very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast buffet selection in the morning including delicious house made granola. Close to Cabrillo beach, aquarium, and other interesting local points of interest easily reached by foot or by the multiple metro and Lime bikes you can rent. The hotel will also take you almost anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Would be very happy to return here.

We had a high school reunion there. I was not impressed with the service. We each got 1 cup of coffee and it was hard to get water refills. The food was pretty good, but only beef was offered, vegetarian or fish selections.

Nice hotel tucked in the harbor. Lobby resturant bar and nice patio. Several rooms have nice private patios.

Stayed there for my brother's wedding. Nice clean rooms. Majority of the staff was super nice. Ran into 2 grumps at the restaurant/bar area when we were waiting for our rides but the oncoming afternoon front counter guy was so helpful and went above and beyond for the kids. Wish I had gotten his name. Pretty view of the docking area and all the boats.

We are locals and we love Happy Hour here at the hotel bar. The outdoor patio is tucked away and romantic with little twinkle lights and fire pits. They serve craft beer, bar food and great house wines. Full bar. Great views of the marina.

Had the worse experience I've ever had at a hotel. We travelled 6 hours to get to this hotel and only had a few hours to get ready and attend a wedding. First they tell us there's no rooms available while we sit there and watch them give out rooms to everyone who came in after us. Then after speaking with the manager, they gave us a room that the air conditioning didn't work in. About 1 hour before we had to leave for the wedding they moved us to another room where the air worked. I've never had such poor service in my life. Our room reservation was booked special as part of the wedding two months in advance. Never again will I go there or recommend this hotel to anyone!

As long as you love marina and sea views, the Doubletree at San Pedro is a nice hotel. The property is quite isolated and there's nothing special around it but if you like to stroll between yachts and boats and enjoy seafood - this is the place to stay. The room is OK with regular Double Tree amenities and dinner was fine. The complimentary breakfast is nothing special and if you don't show up early, some items will be missing.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the marina, preferably at the 2nd or 3rd floor.

I made a reservation and paid for a pool view since the marina view are all sold out. I attached photos I took from my room and the receipt I got that clearly states what I paid for and what type of room. I have reached out to the front desk all the way to corporate but they all tell me that I booked a handicap room and this is what I'm getting. I'm 34 years old and there is no way I am handicap. They told me pretty much I'm stuck with the room with a bill. They also told me that if I turn my head 90 degrees to my right I will be able to see the pool, I did and I saw the corner of the pool. My room view is right in front of the trash enclosure.
Room wasn't ready when I checked in and had to wait 3 hours.
WiFi doesn't connect and clearly says that there is no internet connection.
They will say everything you want to hear until they lock you in with the bill. When you get here you are left with no choice but to take what they give you with no options to cancel.
Also I attached a photo that's all over the room and the hotel premises saying that " IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR STAY LET US KNOW AND WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT" that's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

I was there for a celebration. The catering food was very delicious. I recommend the white sauce salmon. The place was very well kept and staff was attentive.

The carpet needs to be shampooed. Our white socks were filthy from walking on the floor in the room. Which was a disappointment considering I had two small kids under 2. The morning staff was excellent. However, the nonchalant attitude of the evening staff was disheartening. We informed the staff about being chased by raccoons in the parking lot and the only thing they could say is "oh really". That sucked!
