I'm not a business traveler, so I don't often stay in this kind of hotel and might not be the best judge of the quality. That said, I'm very pleased with the accommodations, the amenities, and the staff. The room is spacious and comfortable, the TVs have several streaming apps installed (and your login information is automatically wiped at the end of your stay), and there's both wireless and Ethernet connections. The hotel has conference rooms, a pool, a jacuzzi, and a putting green, but I didn't use any of those during my stay. They did seem to be in good condition and there were lifts at both the pool and jacuzzi for wheelchair-bound swimmers. The staff I spoke with personally were all very friendly and helpful. Our stay included Christmas morning and we found a small stocking of candy on our door. My father-in-law suggested this hotel was "the place for locals to put up their family," and I'm inclined to agree.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. Overall the hotel is awesome, love the decor. The breakfast is pretty good to be free, much better than most hotels. The only thing I think they should look into is upgrading the beds. This is the second Marriott I've stayed at with beds that are super hard and uncomfortable. I actually checked out early so I could get home to a comfy bed and take some meds for the back pain! Other than the bed this place is fantastic.

Had a great stay, there was an issue with my original room but the staff quickly and kindly switched it for me. The lobby area is nicely furnished and organized and the breakfast was pretty good.

We had a wonderful stay last week. The staff is very nice and helpful. We'd like to give extra thanks to Sandra and Kim for their help and advice. Also exceptional was the maintenance/engineering staff for their professionalism. We have only one small complaint and that would be the amount of area that needed dusting in our room. We do plan to book here again next year.

Felt upscale without the price. Courtyard & pool area was nice. Rooms were clean & spacious. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast spread was much nicer than I anticipated. Only con was the bed was average.

Great location close to the beach, nice swimming pool, plentiful breakfast, and very helpful and attentive front desk associates, especially Sandra and Kim. However, I was very taken aback by the poor housekeeping in our room, 528. I expect a clean room and this was not the case, sadly. Also, I asked for a quiet room and was facing the busy roadit was loud and noisy all night. Lastly, we could hear our neighbors talking through the walls. I wanted to love this hotel, but not this time around. We'd definitely love to stay again and hopefully the issues we experienced were isolated.

AMAZING! Started with great hospitality at check in. Room is very spacious. Extra points for cleanliness. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast buffet had enough variety for us to skip lunch. Very short walk to beach. Bike rentals available. Every staff member has been so sweet amd made us feel at home. Will be coming back.

Only stayed for one night but they have a nice little pool. Only about a 7 minute walk to the ocean. Front desk is very responsive. Clean and friendly! They also have a complimentary breakfast. Would stay here again didn't have any problems.

I liked this place only because the room was great. People in that area need to learn that African Americans and other people of color now have the means to travel and expect to be treated like everyone else. The White front desk staff have a few things to brush up on. Otherwise, my score would have been perfect!

My wife and are staying here for my birthday weekend and it's such a great stay. The rooms are very nice, lots of space, fully functional kitchen with all the appliances. Breakfast is wonderful! One of the best Marriott's I've stayed in. Staff is very kind and catering! We are literally a 7 min walk to the beach! It's a Win Win!

Upon arriving at the Residence Inn Amelia Island, I was quickly and warmly greeted by the front desk staff. There was cool cucumber lemon water in the lobby and the decor was lovely. Very fresh and inviting. Once in the room, I was loving the small studio apartment we had for the evening. It had a lovely kitchenette, stocked with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Everything in the room was clean and neat and left me feeling right at home. Everything about our stay was excellent and I highly recommend it.

Great customer service, rooms were beautiful and so clean. Worth the price. Breakfast was great as well, so many options and great quality. Shampoo and bathroom stuff was Paul Mitchell, which is great for me and my tough to manage long hair. All in all we will be coming back!
