Very nice hotel located close to the airport. Ample parking protected by a guard shack. Rooms are well decorated, but show some wear and tear which could be easily fixed. Staff is very helpful and nice. Rooms were quiet and clean.
I was an overnight guest for a wedding (bridesmaid) at the Renaissance. The room was very clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The event coordinator for the wedding was excellent. She was always available for the bridal party.
Very comfortable and convenient hotel with good proximity to the airport. The staff have been excellent and good to deal with. I have stayed there few times and would recommend it as an an airport hotel alternative. A little further from the airport but still close enough. The lounge is pleasant and enjoyable and the hotel is very comfortable, clean and safe.
I stayed here with my husband due to his flight being full and they sent the both of us here. Very clean, great breakfast and an amazingly great bed. Staff not to friendly but overall it was good.
We stayed at Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel as a post cruise stay. They answered all of our questions and were very friendly. The room was nice, clean and fairly quiet. The location was great add it was close to the airport. The shuttle driver to the airport was friendly and helpful as well.
Great hotel with beautiful decor. Helpful staff and great service. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have shuttles for the airport. Plenty of parking. Rooms are a reasonable size and price was compatible to nearby places, if not, even better considering the hotels amenities.
Stayed here for an early flight next morning. The free shuttle bus to airport was full and some people had to wait for the next bus. Had dinner at the restaurant. Food portion was smaller than expected, especially selections from the "large plate". Restaurant service was very good. In the room, our provided conditioner and lotion were only 1/4 full and no spares were present, kind of strange.
The hotel was very, very nice and the staff was very friendly. Nothing to criticise. Possibly could use a more modern bathroom in the room I was in but food was good and bed was comfy All you can really ask for!
Stayed one night before an early flight the next morning. Overall it was okay. The bed was really soft and did not lend well to sleeping for me but my wife loved it. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was good. Service was great. Didn't use much else but I would stay here again for the price. It was reasonable and the brand speaks for itself in terms of cleanliness and what to expect.
Only stayed one night and didn't use the amenities but it was a very nice clean hotel. The lobby area was well decorated and fancy. The staff were friendly.
The hotel was quiet - staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of dislikes - the breakfast menu is different from the menu in the guest room for some reason. We were excited about the breakfast on the menu upstairs and then found we couldn't order it in the main room for some reason. Also, we paid for an upgrade to the club level, and it wasn't worth it. The club lounge was nice, but the food wasn't anything special and you still had to pay for drinks. I wouldn't upgrade again. There were also some things in our room like a missing door handle and chipped paint. Looked like repairs had been left undone? Didn't affect the comfort of the room, but for the price, I'd expect those kinds of things to be taken care of. Overall still a nice and comfortable experience. Shuttle service to the airport was great.
Pick up shuttle from the airport is great and runs pretty true to the hours posted. The hotel itself is beautiful, lobby looks great. The pool is large and allows you to either relax on the side or really dive in do a good swim work out. The rooms are decent. Very clean, and plenty of pillows on the beds. Room comes with a mini fridge, which is a nice touch. The bathroom is a decent size, but I do wish there were more counter space. Overall, I do enjoy my stays at the Renaissance hotel.
