The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Overall a great place to stay, especially for commuting into the city. The free airport shuttle runs constantly, so that is a definite plus. For food you have the Bistro (open 6am-10am and 5pm-11pm) and the 24-hour snack/convenience shop up front. With a lack of room service, this arrangement does at times make it a little difficult to grab something to eat. However, there is an Ihop and a Ruby Tuesday within walking distance. Not much else around (wouldn't recommend straying too far from hotel grounds either) but at least it's something. Nothing fancy here, but the lobby area has an inviting, cozy feel. There are several hotels within the EWR airport area, but I consistently choose this for business in NYC.

I really loved staying at this hotel. It was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The pool was a little dismal and small.

Standard Airport Marriott. Rooms are a nice size for the New York area. Hotel shuttle to the airport and the mall nearby. Also has 2 restaurants in walking distance. A good option if you are overnighting by the airport.

Only enjoyed the lobby of this hotel while waiting for someone. Very comfortable lounges in front of the large TV showing sports. A minus för not having the cafe open until 5pm

Very clean rooms, excellent staff. There is food at the Bistro, and a bar. Shuttle to Newark Liberty International for a flight, or you can catch the Sky Train to get a New Jersey Transit train or Amtrak into Penn Station in Manhattan, or other points depending on your travel needs.

They tend to pre judge people who aren't Rich! My husband and I booked a room online at the Marriott Courtyard For my birthday that can up to $203 after taxes I spoke to a rep. For additional information before we booked the room and when we got there we had just enough money for the room on our debt card and and we had cash then they charge us $250 extra on top of the $203 than what the room really cost and they said this is just so we wouldn't mess up the room they tried to charge us $489 just for one night it's was my birthday what I'm not a tourist!!! I live in New Jersey! why was I charged that much I don't understand

I had booked 3 rooms. So, when we first got here it was fine. We walked up to the customer service desk to reserved 2 out of the 3 rooms that i booked but we couldn't do that due to we didnt know that there would be a deposit fee. We thought that was all included when I booked the rooms. So my sister got her room which wasn't the room what she asked for. When we booked the room online she wanted the bed and breakfast. When she called to see what all was in the room they told her everything but not true because there was no microwave in none of the rooms. My room was OK. Then when my dad finally arrived everything went smooth until like half hour later they called him saying that his card was being decline. So we called his bank to verify that he was the one using his card they have a tight security. So up until 9 something at night his card was still not going threw. So They called for him to come to the front desk and he had like 5 minutes to get. So when we got to the front desk the lady said everything was good and his card went threw at 10 pm. Booking these rooms was a hassle from not knowing there was a deposit to cards being declined.

This is a very nice courtyard, a step above the other floor plans. Very modern and open. I held a meeting and spent the night. I would definitely use this property again.

Do not stay here, very bad experience. No customer service and breakfast is absolutely terrible and do not ask anything extra from the front desk because they do not care and will NOT help you. Oh, the Frosted Flakes were good!

The hotel was really nice. Everyone was really nice. The restaurant had really good food. The room was really nice. The bed was HORRIBLE. A big rock. A nightmare I couldn't escape. But otherwise I would stay again.
