Outside is sketchy. My room was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and quick during check in, although I didn't have any interactions with them outside of them.
Electricity went out leaving us without A/C, TV, anything. It came back on around 7am. We asked the staff for a refund and they said it wasn't their fault the power went out, even though the transformer Duke Power was fixing was right next to our room. The icing on the cake, we had just evacuated Miami due to hurricane Irma.
Room numbers facing out the back of building Two seems a little desolate. Security maybe a concern for some. The area in general is good, however. Room was clean and adequate. Front desk service was okay. We were arriving late and the instructions for getting to the room were inadequate. Check out in the morning was professional and friendly.
The room was clean and comfortable. I slept so peacefully. The shower felt great! We checked in really late and the check in process was smooth. I would recommend this hotel.
Needed it for a night. Surprised to see the room service menu options which was cool but didn't need it as I ate before I checked in at 945pm. Place was clean which is top of my list. Comfort is the second and it was. AC was a tad bit loud for those sensitive sleepers. Im not. Slept like a baby. Bathroom was huge and clean. Decor doesn't bother me at all but for those who careits decent.
Service was wonderful. Rooms were clean. Staff very helpful. Will visit again!
My experience was needless to say AWFUL!!! To begin with, they guarantee a non smoking facility, which it clearly wasn't. The presence of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. My son whom is allergic had to sleep in the car until that morning. The inside door handle was broke and the sink kept stopping up. Upon arrival I asked for a wake up call and when I didn't receive it, I go to call the front desk and the phone wasn't working "GO Figure"!!!!. I asked to be changed to another room. I was given another room, that smelled of smoke, but not nearly as bad as the first room. The beds frame was broken ( I didn't notice until the next morning), but a good night sleep wasn't in the forecast :(. To include the carpet was extremely dirty. The only highlight of my visit was Lili the front desk contact. She was extremely helpful in trying to get the issues resolved. So to sum it up Red Roof Inn Greensboro is in need of some emergency upgrades. I also will be contacting the corporate office re: my complaint.
The AC unit was extremely loud. It sputtered and made loud cracking noises which kept us up all night. The people next to us were loud and the walls are very thin so we heard everything. We think our next door neighbors are some what-permanent residents, so it would have been considerate for hotel attendant to place us in another room since they had plenty of available rooms. In general this is a NOISY hotel.
The bathroom was dirty and had hair on the shower and floor. The shower curtain was dirty. The bathroom wall had a brown and a yellow substance on it. We woke up to a roach in the sink. This is the first rating that I have ever felt obligated to leave so it was that bad.
Friendly staff. Room cleaned every day. Awesome price and great location with lots of amenities within walking distance. Many thanks to all the staff for making my stay easy and pleasant. Will book again next time I'm passing through.
