Two people in my family, one being my one year old daughter, got bed bug bites from this hotel. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you thoroughly inspect your room and enjoy taking risks.
we booked multiple rooms for a men's conference and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. rooms were nice and price was too.
The overall stay was great for the price. The room was clean, the furniture wasn't worn out, and the bed was very comfortable. I'll stay there again soon.
It was clean and the rooms were a good size, but when we arrived, after having made a reservation 2 months ago, we were told that the hotel was full. They were able to accommodate us in a room without a television after the front desk called the manager. They also gave us the room free of charge for the inconvenience, but had there not been a room that was being worked on and had no TV, it is likely that we would have had to drive 30 miles away to another Days Inn.
Breakfast was pretty good ( cereal, beverages, fruits, waffles). The staff seemed friendly and the rooms were clean.
Not the greatest hotel. If it would be for a single night or maybe 2 it would work but for multiple nights id rather spend a little more and get a better selection. Staff is very nice and very accommodating. Convenient area.
We arrived late, about 9:00. No one was at front desk. We waited for 15 minutes before anyone came to check us in. After traveling all day, this was not what we wanted to do. Room was dusty, towels dingy, stained and rough, no complimentary bottles of shampoo or lotion, all lamps were unplugged so we had to search for plugs to be able to see. Breakfast was ok, but could not use jelly as it was hard upon opening packages. Would not stay again.
Only stayed one night, but it was good. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that the breakfast in the morning was rather small.
My Wife and I have been staying at your hotel around 2 to 3 times a year when we visit family in Greensboro.
We have always enjoyed staying here until recently, our last 3 visits were not the experience we have been accustom to in the past
Last August 2016 we were in town for a wedding, the staff apparently had forgotten to put the blanket on the bed. We had to go down to the front desk and request one to use during our stay, not that big of a deal but a inconvenience just the same.
2 weeks later we returned for a funeral, the refrigerator in 202 was not working. Went to front desk and were told maintenance was gone for the day, we had already unpacked and rather than move to another room I got the receptionist to let me switch refrigerators with another room.
Then we returned again to spend Christmas with family in December. Room 202 again. Upon checking in we tried to turn on the lights in the bathroom which didn't work.. total darkness.
Went to front desk and once again told maintenance were gone for the day and that he would put in a work order for the next day.
That was it no offer to help or move to another room. Needing to get ready to go meet with family, I crawled up on the bathroom counter and removed the light shield and toyed around with the florescent bulbs and managed to get one of the two to come on dimly. I took the other to the front desk and asked for a new bulb, he had no clue were any were and said he would keep looking for them while we were out. Never got a second bulb and never had maintenance show up during our entire stay.
I would think that someone would be checking these things when room is being cleaned, and how was the bathroom properly cleaned when the lights weren't working???
We have always enjoyed our stays at your hotel, but recently it seems the services of your staff have been lacking.
Having family that we visit quite often we would like to see if you can do something to improve your maintenance and service, or should we look for another hotel?

If you are looking for a place to spend the night look no further. I am in the service industry and finding a good hotel is a chore at times. I don't need the amenities of a five star hotel. A modest price and no pimps in the parking lot. No bullet holes or blood stains. Could use some paint in the room but it is clean and quiet. ZzzZZz
