My husband and I were first time travelers into Door County and first time mini golfers. We Googled different mini golf options and chose Red Putter. The guy was really friendly and helpful. We had a great experience! So much so, that we're thinking of building our own mini golf course at home. Very inexpensive!
If you want true hardcore mini golf, come here. Very challenging course and it hasn’t changed in 50 years yet the quality is still like its brand new
Always come here every year and have come since I was a kid (over 40 years) definitely one of the best mini-golf courses around
This is a wonderful place for some quick, inexpensive fun! It even has some of the quirky little mini golf attractions, but on a smaller scale. I also loved the short poems that go along with each hole. Definitely worth a visit.
The Red Putter should be on everyone's DoCo checklist. This place has the classic mini golf feel. Pirate's Cove used to be our go-to years ago, but there is only one Red Putter.
We were staying next door at High Point Inn and heard people having a great time all weekend. Finally on our last night at 10:45pm, well past their close time, we stopped by just to see if we could squeeze in a quick 18. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She allowed us a last play through even though they were closed, and we had a blast. Challenging course, fast greens, charming hole design, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the outside it doesn't have the flash and grandeur of Pirates Cove, but it has more charm, challenge, and fun by a long shot. Must stop spot for a trip in Door County.
Open and phone number has changed. Google takes forever to update these errors.
This was a great family owned mini golf course! It was half the price of other local mini golf places and the course has a lot of character! On Google it says it's closed permanently but that is incorrect and it is still open
It isn't closed, but sadly Bob the original owner passed away, and I think his son took over. But this place was half the price of pirates cove and a much harder course
This place was a great stop on our honeymoon. Bob was extremely nice and I advise chatting with him if you have time. The course is definitely a classic, loaded with funny little limericks and dotted with all levels of challenges - the pendulum, barnyard door, even the crazy badger hole. Appropriate for all ages and fun to explore, a mini-golfing adventure here would be well worth your time and money.
