The Red Pepper is the best Indian restaurant around. It is in very convenient location, right on route 22. The decor is very nice and the restaurant always smells like delicious spices. The food is amazing! Everything is so fresh, authentic and flavorful. The menu is expensive there is something for everybody. The naan is the best I have ever had. I highly recommend that you come to the Red Pepper because it is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at.

We catered from red pepper for a party of 50 people. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! It's not just the taste of it, which was divine, but it was fresh, non greasy, and extremely flavorful. They added a tray of salad to our order for free so i expected it to be very basic but boy was i mistaken.. their pride in each dish comes through very clearly. We ordered hariyali kashmiri kofta, bhindi masala, dal makhani, garlic naan, peas pulao, pakodas and dahi bhalla and each dish got rave reviews from everyone! Thank you to the team at Red Pepper for making our party a success!

The lunch buffet never fails! Food is always fresh and authentic, the staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I'll recommend to anyone, even the most picky Indian food critic.

Take out foods are below average..they use lots of red dyes in their foods very unhealthy.. naan has bright red spots no idea what was that. ..Aroma is much better in this area n buffets are cheap too..very limited foods for buffet too..

An average place for Indian food. The person taking order for us had no interest in understanding our needs. The food was at best average. I still think begum palace is one of the best Indian restaurants in this area where food is always good and you get good service no matter what

Scam Artists. I made a take out order for 2 curries and only received 1 box of rice. I thought it was a mistake and pointed it out to the manager at the front desk. He mentioned that that is the way it comes. I told him all other Indian places provide 1 box per curry and he just said I can buy another for $3. Also, he's a middle-aged North Indian guy who is the manager but pretends that he's not the manager when you ask: "I want to speak to a manager." Also, the chicken tikka box was SMALLER and barely had any chicken pieces in it. We basically got the scraps left over from the buffet. We wound up cooking rice for my children when I arrived home and they had to wait until it was done. Never going to this scam place again.

First off, the food at Red Pepper is great. There is no other place we even think of for Indian in our area (Fanwood /Scotch Plains). The selection of dishes and quality/flavor of food is great.

I have to knock them though on their dining room service based on our most recent visit. The staff seemed very disorganized, with seemingly no proper designation of duties (e. g. nobody gave us menus after sitting down requiring us to ask and making it a long time to get our order in also, multiple people asked if we needed a check at the end of the meal). Another couple that came in after us waited so long for menus and drinks that they just got up and left.

Again. the food at Red Pepper is the best, but we'll stick to take out until they get the dining room operation working well.

Been there a few times for dinner and every thing I've ordered so far has been great. The prices are good, and the staff is on top of their game and very attentive. Easily the best Indian place nearby me.

Food was amazing, but they only get three stars as the wait staff was not pleasant to deal with, this includes the manager. I understand every food establishment will have busy days when they won't be able to meet the customer's expectations on timely service. But, you can express it nicely to your customers. Maybe please then by offering something as simple as a serving of papa's which will cost no more than a Dollar for the restaurant. Instead, they just forwned and said IT WILL TAKE TIME. WE WILL GET YOUR FOOD OUT WHEN ITS READY.
