We were really excited to try this place. First, we were sat in the first room with the fireplace, you can't even hear yourself talk the acoustics are so bad. The waiter was straining to hear our order. When the food came, it was mediocre at best. The steak was grizzly and was not cooked right, the Thai chicken was very dry and not tasty. For the money you pay to eat there, you should be getting better food and ambiance. This area has so many good restaurants, I'm afraid the Red Oak just stopped trying. Never going back there again.

THE RED OAK GRILL IT WAS CALLED THE RED OAK DINER BEFORE THE PLACE MOVED I STILL CALL IT THE RED OAK DINER THE RED OAK GRILL IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NEW JERSEY THE RED OAK GRILL PLAYS MOVIE NIGHT LIKE FROZON WILL BE PLAYING AND THE PEOPLE JRES UP BUT THE RED OAK GRILL HAS THE NICEST PEOPLE YOU WILL FIND A THE SRVIS IS FAST AND IF YOU LIKE STACK THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO ALL OF THAR FOOD IS SO GOOD! ! IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN THERE YOU HAVE TO GO BEST PLACE! !

The food is very good. The service for Dinner is good. That said the service for lunch is a little slow. If you work in the area and want to grab lunch make sure you have an hour and 15 min to spare. The view out the back is amazing.

Our family has been going to Red Oak for years now and we have never left disappointed! The atmosphere is upscale, while at the same time relaxed and every single staff member seems genuinely happy to have you there. Whenever we stop in for lunch or dinner at the Red Oak Grille I look forward to seeing how the menu changes seasonally while still maintaining the classic favorites. I really enjoyed the light, fruity features offered this summer; most especially the mango banana bread pudding with house made vanilla bean ice cream. It was to die for! The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality, beautiful presentation, and high level service. I know we will be back again soon!
