We drove for an hour and the food was worth the drive. Ever dish we order was delicious. And the staff were just as amazing from the host to our waitress Amber. Thank you we will be back

Definetly a great place to dine The management and staff are super friendly and make you feel at home while there. My reservation was at 8pm and they were able to sit my party of 10 promptly at 8 even with the evening rush or crowd. Lydell is one of the managers and he made sure everything my wife order was perfect. He even came by and sang happy birthday with us this is a great place to be and I would recommend to everyone I know if they didn't live 2+ hrs away

Great food, pricey as ever if you go with a group to enjoy the night. But I would never go back there due to being over charged for the price of the food. $30 for a fish dinner. Than $17 to park because there's never any parking spots. Forgot to mention they charge a service fee of $2.00. On top of 17.00.

Recently my family and I celebrated my husband's 59th birthday dinner at Delta's. The atmosphere was beautiful. The room / table was laid out so nicelyeven though my party was suppose to be 14 and it turned out to be 10 the staff was professional..kind and accommodating. When we all were finally seated we had such a great time together and the staff was great .. the food was delicious.. the live Jazz Band was great and my husband had such an enjoyable time . And I truly believe that my 1-year old great nephew fell in love with the waitress that was with our room for that evening. Thank you Deltas for a wonderful time that my family will never forget. We typically love Delta's but recently had a child and were concerned about how they would handle a baby in a stroller. As long as you make your reservation early enough (5/530pm) Before the band startsits wonderful. The waitress allowed us a seat that was big enough to fit the stroller and we had a lovely early dinner with our 2 week old. Momma couldn't take being stuck in the house another day and needed some of their house blend hotsauce! Only disappointment was no vanilla ice cream AFTER we placed dessert orders so had to choose between strawberry (ew) and butter pecan for 2 peach cobblers. Didn't seem right. But service was great and we really appreciated out waiter and the hostess. Please note: there is no changing pad in the restroom so it's not truly a kid friendly placebut if you're in and out SUPER EARLY - you can do it. They would do well to add changing stations to their bathroom as I'm sure someone could file a complaint about that.

I went to deltas for a family members birthday and did not know what to expect.I am from northern New Jersey and this was my 1st time going or ever hearing about the place, and I'm glad I did.Our server amber was excellent she handled our party very well!We were a group of 14. She catered to our ever need with time and manner. I truely enjoyed my experience and will recommend this restaurant anywhere.

THE place for great soul food, live music and events! Trendy, sophisticated and friendly. A touch of NYC in New Brunswick with top notch acts like the FLAVUH Band and Valerie Adams and the Dimension. Mouth watering southern dishes keep people coming again and again. 5 stars for sure!

They say your first impression is your best impression, in this case I don't plan on revisiting this place. I don't know if it was the fact that where they had my wife and I seated was right next to the back stairs or that the table shouldn't have been put there in the first place. I couldn't enjoy my meal because we were seated by a 20 person party that was less than 1 foot away from us where we couldn't even hear our own conversation. The service would have been nice if we could ever find them. They seemed to cater more to the bigger parties which I forgot to mention that there were two 2o person parties in the section they decided to seat us at. The waiter only came to check on us once, good thing i asked for my soda refill on that one time. The food was mediocre at best. I have been to places that are less expensive and have a better taste in their food. The best thing about the night was the company of my wife, the live band and the catfish appetizer. If you plan on visiting this place make sure you place a reservation which we did or else enjoy the what looked like a nice 2 hour wait.

Delta's is not what it is cracked up to b. I think it is over priced and the food is not worth the money. I do not like that u have to make reservations. We don't have many soul food restaurants to pick from but this is not one I will b coming back to.

I don't usually post reviews but there's always an exception. I had the pleasure of dining at Delta's for my birthday tonight (2/14). Delta's is local and they have a good live band on Tuesdays. Since it was Valentine's Day, Delta's only offered a fixed price menu. And of course that price was nearly double what you would pay for the same items on the normal menu. Also, the choices were limited. I get what they were trying to do but.. So I go along with it. I always enjoy the atmosphere there. However, the overpriced food was disappointing. All I really wanted was the Collard Green Dip and I should have stuck to that and sat at the bar. The dip didn't disappoint but the candied yams and mac and cheese were not even as good as mine and cooking is not really one of my strengths! I have heard of the inconsistency of the food there but up until now that had not been my experience. I will pay for good food but I left there feeling cheated this time. Especially when I was forced to pay a 20 percent gratuity/entertainment charge which was not clearly advertised. My server was attentive and if the whole amount was going to him I would even let that go. But, suffice to say the lesson is learned. I may go back but only for appetizers and cocktails!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in New Brunswick! The food is unbelievably tasty! The live music is fantastic. The people are friendly. Definitely a warm and welcoming experience!

The food was great. It was soul food that i didn't have to feel guilty about lol. The server we had was outstanding! The music was for my mother's age bracket 45+ so that wasn't the best for me but I was comfortable with it. The bathroom could've been better maintained. The live band was a nice touch.
