The beds are great rooms are clean and have p l entry of space. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The layout is a little funny. Has a great pool and hit tub. The views of the surrounding Mountains is amazing. Can't beat it for the price.
It is tiny. Clean in rooms. It is old. Not very clean in hallways and elevator. Was I little apprehensive on staying because it refers to resort. And this is not a resort. Just regular hotel. They try but just don't have it. People working are gracious. If you want resort don't stay.
I won't pick every detail of this hotel because it was amazingly low priced. So let me give the good points of this very low priced hotel that you wouldn't expect it to have.
Sausage, eggs, country potatoes, cereal, bagels, etc. in the morning.
Free snacks and drinks at night.
Very nice pool.
Some what quiet atmosphere.
Small living room and two different rooms with TV's with at least 2 queen beds (in my cheaply priced room at least).
And finally the reason it gets a 5 star review.
*****EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE BEDS****
I didn't wake feeling like I slept in a tent on the ground like almost all other hotels and I will remember this about Red Lion in the future.
I Couldn't have asked for more FOR THE PRICE.
Good service and the hotel has what you need. Nothing too fancy, but there is a pool, hot tub, and putting green. It's gets five stars from me as a budget hotel option in this area.
This hotel is INCREDIBLE! All of the staff were VERY nice & helpful. My room was amazing and the extra benefits were very generous! I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice Hotel, a bit dated, but clean and comfortable! Breakfast and a Happy hour included!! Service was great! Nice cookie from front desk at arrival. Girl's at the desk and ones working breakfast and happy hour were great!!! We enjoyed our stay. Large room, was more like an appartment, fridge, stove, sink and basic kitchen ware! More than we imagined. There was an issue with the pool (cloudy water) but everything else was great.and so affordable!!!
We really loved this hotel. While the hotel was a bit dated itself, it was clean, the rooms large and def more than we expected for the price!! The staff were super!! Loved that both hot breakfast and a "happy hour" with snacks were included!! Room was quiet, even facing pool area. Will stay here again when in the area!!
This hotel made things easy, and when you're traveling easy is good. Quick check in, no problems; the gentleman at the front desk was efficient. I checked in late (around midnight) so the 24hr front desk is a plus. Sharing a room with another gentleman and there was enough space in the 375sq ft suite. I didn't expect much but was pleased with the size of the room, the accommodations and the free breakfast, especially for the price i paid. Very nice size kitchenette (i say kitchenette but it has a full fridge and a small electric stove top.) Room was mostly clean (carpet had stains, but that doesn't bother me). Bathroom was cleaned everyday and housekeepers did a great job. Had no need to call front desk so i can't rate that experience. Overall a good stay. I give 4 stars because of the accommodations and the price i paid, but this is a standard 3 star hotel. Good job Red Lion Inn
This was a great hotel! We stayed in a suite and it was the perfect size for our family of 5. The hotel had a great continental breakfast and a nice happy hour in the evening. The pool was fun and heated.
Can't beat the value. We are a family of 5 and we stayed one night on a weekend trip to Tucson. The rooms were clean. The upgrade to the suite was reasonably priced and well worth it. The pool area is well kept. The complementary breakfast was great and even my picky eater found things she liked. We would stay there again.
Very clean and easy to find. Front desk was helpful although a little non-social. Great room for and a decent price. Also, the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash were probably the best of any hotel I've ever been to. The lotion smelled so good I took it with me
This place would be great for families and travelers from what i observed.. has laundry service, elevators, good breakfast set up, from what i saw staff is usually friendly.. my experience was singular and from what i observed limited to me. I went there during my secret shopper days i was forcefully greated by a dark haired lady at the front desk who seemed to dislike me the moment i walked in she was very friendly with the other customers though i got a bottom floor room though i requested top. The room was dirty though not from lack of cleaning just messy cleaning, it seemed purple cleaning solution left behind on tub, there were bugs, bed was really comfy and there were sufficient pillows i did get hit with hidden charges months after my stay.. never knew why, it was just withdrawn from the cc used for that day again not a bad place, pool was nice, family friendly environment just a different personal experience for me
