The menu was well planned out. A nice variety for everyone's taste. Beer selection was excellent. Wide range of colors from dark beer to light. Servers were attentive and made good recommendations.

Everything we had here was really solid. Good flavors in the apps and entrees. The dessert we had was a dessert with a vanilla custard. Used real vanilla pods, as seeds were present and this custard was amazing.

Great pizza, my family has never had a bad meal at Red Eye. Ample craft beer selection with a relaxed atmosphere. Wait times are generally about 20 minutes on a busy night with 40 being the longest we have experienced. Parking is a bit of a hassle due to the size of the parking lot, however there is ample street parking with a short walk to the restaurant.

One of the best dining and drinking experiences in the Wausau area and it shows. The building is clean and decorated well. Large screens display the Red Eye and guest beers on tap and information on each. The food has been great, no matter what I've tried; most recently a fish tacos special. The beers are solid, and the guest beers are well chosen. The staff is friendly and attentive. Go before the rush, or be prepared to wait as much as an hour, as this hot spot really fills up on the weekend evenings. Or just step up to the bar and have an appetizer while you pass the time with good drinks.

Waitstaff is always super friendly and nice. I've always had great food here. Bloody Mary's are also delicious! I appreciate their intentions to use as many local ingredients as they can. I love the patio option in warmer months. I enjoy this place overall.

My only "cons" are that some of the bartenders tend to have stuffy attitudes. One in particular never looks my partner or I in the eye when he is working so it feels as though we are a nuisance to him. The wait for a table can be long if you are with a group of people.

Amazing! We came early on a Friday night (5pm). Luckily, we got a nice table without a wait. From what I heard, this is not normal, so call ahead if you can! If not, enjoy their awesome beers at the bar while you wait. They have a kid friendly menu and many chef inspired items outside the regular menu. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. We ordered a flight of beers, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. It was great food! It can get a bit pricey, but they serve local and great ingredients. It's worth it for good food, in a great place, supporting local farms and companies. Try the carrot cake!!

WOW. What a fantastic restaurant.
I'd been pretty disappointed by most places I've stopped on this Midwestern trip but Red Eye has finally satisfied my appetite for a wonderful overall experience.
The food was excellent and pretty reasonably priced for what it is, the drinks are plentiful and well crafted with good variety, and the service was attentive and friendly without making us feel rushed.

Truly a restaurant I wish I could take home with me.

Great find on our way home via Wasau. We ordered an appetizer that was mushrooms with onions and garlic cooked in a red wine sauce served with toast and lemon goat cheese. It was fabulous and HUGE. Definitely worth getting it with a flight of their beer. Totally changes the character of the beer. The before and after was fun. We also tried the "Forager" pizza. Totally excellent! Definitely enough between the app and pizza for 3+ people. With 2 of us, we're taking about half of the pizza home and we're stuffed. We had to take a growler of beer home too. To top it off, the price was extremely reasonable. We'll make a point of stopping here again when we're in the area.

Best cobb salad in town - fresh grilled chicken made the meal! Hamburgers are also top-notch, but I'll pass on the artichoke dip. Reservations are always recommended since they're eternally busy.

Please go here! You won't be disappointed. The food is fantastic, their pizzas are incredible. We take our company here (and we live 45 minutes away) and always walk satisfied. Such a great waitstaff, great food and great atmosphere make a meal with friends remarkable!
