Fantastic, exemplary, extraordinary, practically organic. (And that's because the software won't accept the word orgasmic.) So pretty good, all things considered.
Great atmosphere and a very nice view of the capital building from upstairs. The french onion soup is amazing!
Service was amazing as always. Special thank you to the hostess on 11/14 for being willing to move us to a different table from a booth when our party got bigger.
Great food, great beer! Extremely good customer service. I lost my cell phone everyone helped me look, they even stayed late so I could try to hear it when it was quiet. They were so amazing here. I turns out I lost my phone somewhere else, but they were so great, I would recommend this place to anyone.
First time here. Had the buffalo chicken Mac. Was excellant. The crop circle wheat was a perfect match.
New and a bit hidden, but really great. We also had an awesome waitress. Being in food service for over a decade I can be picky and she's did AWESOME! I actually enjoyed my time here. :-)
We had an excellent time there! The staff was very pleasing and professional. I would come back to this establishment again, hopefully soon :)
Great food great beer. Service was lovely they were able to accommodate us with our little pup since tgere were not too many people on the patio. Greatly appreciated after traveling.
Great food, good beer and a selection to boot! However not a place if you have young kids. This is a restaurant, but it is a brewery/bar mostly. Keep the toddlers away.
This place was amazing! I came in after graduation on a Friday night and they were able to seat us super quickly. All the drinks were tasty and the food came in no time. Plus our server was the sweetest thing in the world. Mostly certainly returning again
The food is marginal and the service is worse.
But, if you enjoy a meal with hillbillies that don’t even attempt to control their offspring, then this is the place.
Saturday 4/15/17 afternoon
Beer was delicious. I love that they have their own stuff on tap. Bartenders were just amazing. Super glad I stopped by.
Saturday evening dinner at the GDPub was a disappointment. Ordered hot tea and it came cold. Sent it back and 20 minutes later the hot tea finally arrived. My wife's glass of water came with a fly floating in it. Ordered desert of ice cream with extra hot fudge. Ice cream arrived half melted with a spec of fudge.
Beer 4 stars, food 2, atmosphere 2
Normally I don't post critical things but I used to come in here often because I lived in the neighborhood and I know that there was people that would want to know this back then. I came for brunch and ordered the prime rib (medium) and eggs. The plate came out within 10 minutes or so, which was good, but the Prime rib was barely above room temperature, the breakfast potatoes were under seasoned and burned, and the eggs didn't come out the way I wanted them (in all fairness, I was never asked how I wanted the eggs, so someone had to make a judgment call). The biscuits also needed a little some thing because they were a bit dry and tasted like basic bisquik. There was a handful of fruit flies circling around (I was at the bar), which made me question how well they clean, given the effort that seemed to be put into the food. I really hope I just came in on an off day because if this is the standard, it's going to eventually hurt their business.
I wouldn't even give them one star. Worst experience at a restaurant, ever! A girl that wasn't even my waitress approached my table after I sent my food back and said to me in a very snotty disrespectful tone "you ordered it right?" I couldn't believe it, I responded that I'd need to speak to the manager and she ignored and turned around to the lady that actually was our waitress and starts laughing and is pretty much making fun of me right in front my face and I then called her out on it and asked for her name and she said she doesn't have to give me her name I then asked for the manager right away and she says "you wont get my name from her either" and walked away with a disgusting smirk on her face. While waiting for the manager we hear this same girl go to a different table and greet them and stall when she had to say her name because she knew we'd get her name then. She gave them a fake name in which we found out by asking the manager if that was her name and the manager said no. The manager Samantha said she'd "talk to the girl" and yet somehow this girl got away with giving a fake name to a customer ON TOP of being completely unprofessional and childish to me. She didn't even have any business being at our table. The manager also did not give us her name. Unprofessional is such an understatement and honestly we shouldn't have even had to pay our bill after this behavior.
