Over the years I have been here many, many times for various events i.e. musical, benefits, ect. & always have found this to be a relaxing enjoyable place. You may order food in, as they don't have any food service available on premises

Good outdoor area with locally brewed beer. Nice place for summer sun. Indoor bar is cozy and great when the weather turns bad.

Good beer in a nice setting. I wish Iowa had a beer garden like that. However, the tour was hot and disappointing. The tour guide only knew about filling kegs and shipping product; he didn't even know how long it took to make the wort. I recommend checking out the beer garden on a Friday or Saturday night, but only take the $7 tour if you want a souvenir glass.

My family loved the beer tour and souvenir shop here. The tour is definitely a must-do, and it includes a free Capital Brewery glass and beer sample tokens. The outdoor seating area is a great addition to the experience when you can visit in the summer.
