front desk is incredibly friendly and helpful. Only negative is their room service. Very rude.

On Saturday, December 16th, the Ramada hosted my work's Christmas party. This was my first time attending but apparently it's been celebrated for almost 30 years by now. Star Chevrolet parks its cars outside the Ramada in its lots before we set them up in our own lots and it is a wonder to finally be inside the place considering how often I see it from the outside. Excellent catering and food. The ballroom is pretty sizable and did a fantastic job of hosting my coworkers and still having room in front of it's stage for its live band.

I attended a comedy show of 4 local comedians. Prior to the show the bar/lounge was horribly understaffed. The staff on shift was very apologetic, and made their best efforts to accommodate us. The fault was not theirs, but managements for not planning properly. As the comedians were performing in the conference center, the lounge had a live band that could be heard over top. It was only their sound check, so the interuptions were sporadic and often interfering with the comedic timing. Again, poor planning from the management team.

We attended a wedding there. The decor was great, and very clean. The food was good, however it wasn't very hot. Also, we were skipped for bread service, and the response was less than professional when we approached an employee. Both issues could've just been a one-off, but something to take into consideration. Otherwise, a good time.

I always receive first class service from the entire Ramada staff. The facility is PERFECT for events and programs. The food is great. The attention to every detail is impeccable. John Mizikar, Willis and Chef Jeff are an amazing team!

Breakfast was awesome, except they were supposed to serve until 11 on Sunday. They took everything away at 10:30, and we weren't done. Room was disgusting. We stayed September 17 in a jacuzzi suit. Had to clean the dust out before we used it. Room smelled nasty. Black mold in the window, which you couldn't even see out of. Bed was comfortable. Not sure I'll stay at Ramada again.

If I could've given 4.5, I would have, but only whole stars are an option. The hotel is clean, though the room section is slightly outdated. Bathrooms are very nice. Hotel lounge/restaurant was better than expected. Great value!

The conference center seems very nice. But the rooms are very dated. The layout of the hotel is so confusing they gave me a map when I checked in to find my room. The staff is very helpful and friendly

Weird road off U.S. 30 to get here. Watch out for cross traffic. Weird layout. Small pool. Everything clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast bar including made to order waffles and omelettes. I'd start here again no question.

The Ramada is functional. The rooms are dated (and not always the cleanest). The indoor pool was nice. The restaurant was nice and clean. We had a great experience with the staff - they were very helpful and polite. We stayed at this hotel because of the Idlewild package they offer.

Poor Customer Service and Rooms Need TLC, PLEASE READ.
I was here for a wedding like many others. I was told over the phone that I could not check in early even though I told them I was there for the wedding and the rooms were already blocked off, but then when I got there all of a sudden I could check in. Later I found out that the hotel had badly shuffled around where the guests were staying instead of keeping everyone in the party in close proximity, as well as the room types for certain reservations. Eventually it got sorted out, but it wasn't a good sign.
The double-bed room itself was quite cramped, its wallpaper peeling, ceiling stained in certain places, and its appliances outdated. The TVs in several rooms like this one that I went into didn't even have HDMI ports on them which have been industry standard for years. The beds were hard but at least the sheets and pillows were soft. The refrigerator was small and stained, and even froze my drinks, which I will get to later. The king-sized room seemed to be where the real attention went. Spacious, working jacuzzi, larger bathroom, modern appliances, soft bed, it had it all. So why weren't the rest of the rooms kept up?
The pool was medium-sized but enough for a hotel of this size. Only one of the two days we used it they had actually kept the towels stocked up, but at least the pool was pumping in warm water and was well-lit. The surrounding area was well-kept but the pool itself had some large spots of visible wear. During the weekend, that Friday and Saturday night each had a wedding and reception as well as some sports teams staying, so the hotel was packed. With a packed house, you'd think they'd keep the pool open during normal hours so people could use it right? Wrong, they closed it early.
Later while getting decorations moved through the main lobby I sustained a small injury which caused some bleeding but nothing a band-aid couldn't fix, so I went to the desk and asked for a band-aid. The man at the front looked quite inconvenienced at the request as opposed to concerned about and injury literally right in front of him. After finishing a couple of other tasks, he gave me a band-aid without saying anything further.
The wedding reception was laid out very nicely and well coordinated with the catering staff. The food was a bit bland in some ways but was warm and on time. The dance floor was rather worn, but it took quite the punishment from multiple weddings so that's to be expected. The catering staff was attentive and friendly, with the director John getting drinks from the bar for the main wedding party.
Because I stayed an extra day outside the wedding block to be with friends in the area, I had to check out then check back in, which is understandable because of pricing and timing, and they let me stay in the same room. During that time I spoke with the man about the refrigerator freezing my beverages and no visible knob to change the temperature. He simply said to me, "I'm sure your drinks will thaw out." Seriously? I'm staying an extra day leaving plenty of time and spending plenty of money for you to figure something out and that's what you come up with? Not even an offer for maintenance to look at it, not an offer for credits at the bar, just a snide comment from someone who quite obviously DOES NOT CARE.
At the end of my stay I went to check out, and the same man at the desk barely even looked up at me before reaching his arm out and asking for my room key, then simply said "Thank you" without looking up. Again, DOES NOT CARE. I realize that this may be an issue with one particular employee, but no one bothered to correct his behavior or otherwise inquire about my stay. Either way, this is an absolutely unacceptable attitude from a hospitality employee.
I had stayed at a Hampton Inn the night before I came here just because of event placement. I paid the same amount for the same room and got much better quality in every way. My advice: Stay there instead.

Attend a wedding. Space and decor were nice. Food was bland in taste and appearance. Also, cleared our own table and had to repeatedly ask for water.

It's a small but very comfortable place. I came here for a wedding and I was definitely not disappointed. The restaurant isn't open all day but the staff is friendly and the building is well kept.

I've called three times requesting an email copy of my check out receipt. Nope. Every person I talked to at hospitality said they would mail it right out. still waiting.
Also, when you check out in the morning why couldn't they slip a receipt under the door so I could grab it and go on my merry way??? Nope!
I even tried to contact via email. no response.
For a hassle free stay, they sure do make things difficult. I recommend staying someplace else while you are traveling through Greensburg. Even Motel 6 would be more accommodating.

Great hotel! Prime location with lots of shopping and food nearby. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was nice and hot as long as you didn't get at the last hour of serving. Pool was nice but there was no hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.
