I had a reservation here with my family and my experience was horrible. For this place I’d definitely say, trust the reviews. I had to be moved 4 times! The first two rooms had ROACHES in them. In the refrigerator and the bathroom. And then, the last two, one of them had a ceiling leak and heater didn’t work. In the other one, there were plumbing problems. However I give them 1 star because the hotel management was really understanding and let us move rooms without any hassle, and canceled the reservation. But besides that, I didn’t have a very good experience there.
Only one star because customer service was spot on. Terrible maid cleaning and did not replenish towels or clean floors. Vents were filthy and room had odd smell. Key card locks don't work properly and were told upon check in we may have to get maintenance to let us in if if stops working. Fan and A.C. barely work, allowing room to get warm quickly. Could be nice hotel but have long way to go. Do not recommended staying here.
The beds are comfy. The room has been remodeled, I would guess in the last couple years with new floor, tv in the bedroom, and lamps. The couch in the front room is stained to the point that I wouldn't put it in my house, and I have 4 kids. There was also a drawer with assorted trash in it when we arrived. I don't want it to sound all bad because we have enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again in a heartbeat at the $75 price that I paid. I also like how easy it is to get from here to Mickey and Friends parking at Disneyland. The staff have been really nice as well. Every time we come in and leave, the front desk greet us nicely, and the cleaning ladies had the room looking great when we got back yesterday.
The hotel room was pretty nice. It has been newly renovated. You can tell this is an old hotel though and is a little quirky. The hot tub was great for long days at Disneyland. The not so good part was the promised shuttle when we called before our trip was very unreliable. One day we called in the morning and they confirmed the reservation with us yet they totally forgot to pick us up. We had to get a Lyft back to the hotel. They earn a star back though because they reimbursed the ride and were very helpful throughout the week.
The staff here was very nice and seemed embarrassed about the condition of the hotel, which I know they don't have much control over. The hotel itself is one of the worst that I've ever stayed at in my entire life. Our first room was disgusting. The carpets were stained on like 80% of their surface, parts were torn and were pulling up from the floor. The couch and chair were stained, the toilet was constantly running and the bathroom was dingy and gross. I called the front desk and the clerk was very friendly but seemed to be expecting our call, like he knew the room was awful but had no choice but to initially put us in there. I asked for a new room and he was able to give us a different room type. This room was slightly better. The floor had been replaced with wood laminate flooring, but all of the furniture still seemed original and shabby. The lights didn't work half the time, the door keys were finicky and would take multiple tries to get working. After reading other guest reviews, I'm glad our door keys at least worked because this has apparently been an issue there for the past few months and they have not fixed it. Had I been given the 2nd room that we got first, this would probably be a 3 star mediocre review, but that first room really was the worst hotel room I've ever been in, worse than the $40 a night roach motels you sometimes get stuck in on road trips when you aren't sure where you're going to stop for the night. It was horrible and the hotel owner should be ashamed at trying to pass off that condition to a guest. Also to the manager, I really don't ever plan to give you another chance to "exceed my expectations on a future stay" as you've responded to so many others. Just get your act together and clean/remodel this place until ALL of the rooms are habitable before you try to dump guests into them for a quick buck.
For a Radisson Hotel this location was a huge let down. They recently changed companies for their key system and most of the room keys would not work. We had to call the front desk every time we needed to get into our room. However, we were understanding and that was not our main issue during our stay. The day after we arrived we were gone from earlier morning until after 6 pm; when we returned our room had not been cleaned and our AC was not working properly. The next morning we talked to the front desk about our concerns and they were very polite and said they would make sure our room got cleaned and would have someone look at the AC. When we returned the AC still did not work and I would hardly say our room was cleaned the bed was made and trash was taken out however we did not have any clean towels or bathroom linen. At the end of our stay when we were checking out we informed the front desk of the everything and that we expected more out of a Radisson. We were not looking for any compensation but wanted to give feedback for the future. However, the staff was very polite and stated they would look into a partial reimbursement for us. We waited to talk to a manager but after 15 minutes they told us they were in a meeting. They confirmed our contact information and said we would hear back from them in the afternoon; it has been almost a week and we still have not been contacted. The overall experience was not up to any hotel standard especially a Radisson.
I'm always impressed with the friendly staff here. And I usually have a great stay. However this last time my visit wasn't as good. The hotel is under some type of renovation? Looks like they are changing out the carpet and replacing with a synthetic hard wood. But what annoyed us is that we couldn't get in our room because something was wrong with the keys. We had to call down to the front desk every time we had to go into our room. So we had to wait out side while they sent someone up to our rooms. I don't know who is managing this hotel but that's something that should be addressed like yesterday. The front desk said they do not have a fix any time soon. Other than that major inconvenience it's a decent place to stay at the price point.
Beautiful hotel. Great outdoor scenery and good size pool. Only real downside was that we stayed there while they were in the process of renovations and the key cards wouldn't work for our door. So, you wouldn't be able to lock your door. If you did, you'd have to wait until maintenance came up to let you in.
Restaurant has good food, but it's a little pricey. (Not surprising. Everything in hotels is expensive.) I would recommend the lava cake. It's $8 and completely worth it. You'll love it. The elevators are really slow, so I just ended up taking the stairs.
Overall, good hotel. Would definitely stay again.
We had a reservation for this hotel and switched it to another. It looks like it was once a nice hotel, but the new management that took over nine months ago seems to be determined to run it into the ground. They perpetually have key card issues that no one bothers to fix. We stepped into our room in the first floor and rushed back out as it smelled profoundly of mold and must. Glad we were able to switch!
Convenient location near Disneyland, appreciated the greenery, pool and food. Bit of a Spanish vibe in the architecture. However, there was a really strong, disturbing smell for part of the day.
Spacious 2 room suites and nice staff. Beautiful lush tropical garden setting, nice pool, hot tub area. Needs some reno, but very good.
Thia hotel is really nice. Staff is pretty nice. The reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was hassled about not having my California i.d and was using my passport as identification. Other than that the staff has been really accommodating and friendly.
The front desk staff is very nice. The room is just okay. The phone doesn't work. The bed is so lumpy I barely slept. I brought my own pillows from home and the housekeeping people threw them on the floor. We had 4 towels the first night but after they cleaned we only got 3 for some reason. They didn't empty my trash and personal items were moved around that didn't need to be touched. Our phone chargers were unplugged and moved. My main complaint is with the housekeeping department. Otherwise it is a hat I expected at the price we were paying.
The hotel is located in a great area near Knotts Berry Farms. The courtyard is beautiful with palm trees and other greenery surrounding the pool area. The rooms are older & some of the furnishings in the room were well worn. The room had a separate living area from the bedroom & had beautiful shutters on the windowed doors, so you could open them and let natural light in the living area. The breakfast was cold, including items that should be warm. The staff were friendly & the room was clean.
