We were completely baffled in trying to find our room. They are numbered even and odd..rather than in order, making it a maze ..Pool and hot tub were great, breakfast was great.
Enjoyed this hotel. Big room and liked the microwave and big refrigerator. Did not like that they started cleaning the rooms so early before 10!
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The view is awesome, breakfast is good, and rooms are all very clean. Exactly what I wanted for a great price!
Clean and good service. Facility is a bit old, but they keep it up nicely. The pool also is nice.
Police activity when we arrived and continued into the night. Lobby looked run down and old. The clerk didn't have much personality and just handed us the keys. The walkways and elevator were dirty. We felt like we were staying at a hotel that rented by the hour. Room was filthy. There was what looked like feces inside the bathroom door by the handle. The toilet lid was stained, shower stall was dirty and in need of repair. No bathroom fan, just vent in ceiling which was filthy with dust and some of the louvers were broken out. Hair dryer sparked. The whole room was just disgusting--didn't want to touch anything! AC unit was loud. Went down to breakfast and food looked bad not to mention the seedy guests so we left to have breakfast elsewhere. When we checked out I wanted to tell the clerk how bad it was but she was the only one there and the guest was having a problem and I stood there forever. The clerk did not call someone else to help me or the other guest waiting. The other guest was kind enough to let me drop the keys and go. I didn't want to delay the guest so I just left. We will never stay at a quality inn again. This was just disgusting!
Rooms were comfortable. Hotel has really thin walls, we were near the pool and could hear anyone in the pool area around the clock and traffic as well. The front desk staff were great, housekeeping staff was quite rude, knocking and entering multiple times per day regardless of the do not disturb sign and is turning down service. Convenient location. Great breakfast.
Not the cleanest. Had dirty towels and trash in our bathroom at check in. Also dead bugs on the floor and a piece of trash stuffed into the chair. Our door looked like it had been previously pried open with a crobar which would explain why it was difficult to open/close & we had constant problems with the keywords. Handyman was nice, quickly replacing our damaged mini fridge. Breakfast selection okay, as long as you aren't trying to eat anything healthy. The breakfast attendant M-Sat was very friendly and clean. The guy on Sunday was rude, unprepared at start of breakfast, not at all organized, and didn't even put out all the food. We had to ask for several items that were there every other day of the week, and he snapped at my husband and several other guests. General manager was nice, and very helpful. Other front desk staff, Cole in particular, were continuously rude. Cole told us 'it was state law' that we had to allow housekeeping in our room during our week long stay though we requested otherwise. We've stayed at several other Quality Inns, in Phoenix & out of state, for week long stays and never experienced this before. I wouldn't stay here again unless I had no other choice.
The hotel is good and has what you need. Good beds, clean rooms, nice pool and spa. Decent breakfast. They did however fail to call my room back when towels were requested. Was told there was a towel shortage. Which is odd considering the hotel was not sold out. There were also some stains and burn marks on the bedding. But overall it was fine.
My room on the 4th floor facing the pool and South mountain had the most spectacular view of the moonshine lighting up the trails on the hills. The bed was pillow of winds and the linens soft as down. Marble shower, and vanity..nice furniture.. The room felt really classy. Smashing breakfast.. enough said. Respectable fellow patrons were friendly and it was relatively quiet after 9 pm No thuggery. For the affordable rate it was surprising. So, don't come here because I don't want to ruin it.
The breakfast here was great (including vegan options), and Tuesday and Thursday nights they have a bar with two free drinks. The rooms are adequate although the AC is a bit loud. For $50 though, you can't go wrong here.
Guest services was excellent. The room was updated nicely. Breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. It is an older property, but maintained well. Not particularly close to the airport though.
Check in was very fast but friendly, the room was very clean and nicely done. Later that night it was hot in the room and we noticed the A/C wasn't working, being that we're from a cold town we called the front desk, within less than 10 minutes we had a maintenance man and a new A/C in our room. I would highly recommend this hotel as everyone here seems helpful and caring. I (A consultant for Verizon) know how important reviews are so I make sure the review is needed and helpful. Thank you very much for all your help and hospitality.
Great customer service. We discovered upon arrival that we accidentally booked the wrong date for our room; the guest service agent happily changed our date with no questions asked. Room was clean and the staff delivered on creating a quality experience. A great start to our visit to Arizona!
