Places should never ever sell dogs. The only thing about it that is good is that it is clean. Too clean. The dogs need to be all ages and they need to be ADOPTED! Please dont go her if you know what is good for you.

I took some time one day to check out this so "pet store" to see the changes they made from their other location. I was sad to see that the place was so hot and the dogs had no water in there cages. There were feces all over the cages and the dogs. It looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. I was interest in playing with a dachshund puppy that is still at the store today, and the moment he got into the play pen with me, he was attached to me, shaking and scared. He smelt of feces and urine. I received his information to see exactly were he came from and traced it back to a PUPPY MILL. I have heard multiply stories from people interested in a puppy at Puppy in the Window, to find out that these dogs are from puppy mills.

DO NOT buy from this store they are awful and and do not take care of their animals and a majority are sick. Yes do your research they are puppy mill dog that are very extremely over priced. They are in major financial difficulty and can not even manage to pay their employees without constantly bouncing checks and or having the landlord threatening to shut them down due to their rent NOT getting paid. Don't buy a dog expecting them to stand by the warranty as they wont be in business long enough to do that! Go to a reputable breeder or a shelter! Also please note that I ONLY gave them one star because Google would not allow me to give Zero!

Bought my yorkie and Kate did a wonderful job. She picked out the best little guy my family could ever ask for. We are so happy and soon ready to find him a brother or sister. So I just once again would love to thank Kate and her mom for the best of the best

My head BROKE when I walked into this place!! It was so so hot! I asked if their air was broken and she said it was on. It was cooler outside! Flies and fruit flies all swarming these poor animals. The puppies all panting and lethargic from being in glass boxes in an already steaming hot atmosphere. I wanted to rescue the whole store!! Staff walking around spraying air freshener because of the smell of urine and any other bad smell a pet store should NOT smell like. Staff wasn't inviting at a all!! Who do I contact to shut this place down and save the animals!!!

Came in very interested on buying a pet thinking this place would be better then pet landturns out I was WRONG. The place overall has an unhealthy smelling environment the minute you walk in. I understand it's a pet store but it can def be kept up with a little better. Also very poor customer service skills, the girl working there was very rude and expected for customers to not pet the freely walking animals, which is kinda sad because you'd think that the reason that they're walking around so freely is so they can have some type of interaction with the customers however I guess that's not the case. Really hope that each of those pets can find a loving & caring home after all that should be the main concern of a pet store.. right?🤔

Definitely rating This PUPPY IN A WINDOW place Zero stars. First it's super hot in there and that can't be good for the pets! Second they have there pets out walking around and God forbid you pet one of them before the employee rudely tells you not too! I'm sorry isn't this supposed to be a friendly pet place?!? If you don't want the animals being petted then don't have them there at all! Thirdly maybe an employee who has Good Customer service skills will help the business! not someone who is more concerned in disciplining the customers then actually helping them. Like telling a one year old to keep there feet off the bench as he was trying to sit on it. auhh yeah try again lady, will definitely not be returning not only for there horrible customer service skills but also for there super high prices. It's about finding a puppy a good home at a reasonable price. Not over pricing them to a point where you have to financially put them on a credit card in order for the store to make a profit.

I really do love this place.

They take very good care of their animals, and many of them come from responsibly bread operations, not factory farms. By far the best bunny's you'll find anywhere. Many of their fish are also locally and responsibly sourced as well. Very nice employees and all around a pleasant place to be.

This is the worst thing I ever done buying a dog from Petland on Larkin and Rt. 30. We got her in August of 2015; she is not even the breed they told me she was, she sheds like crazy when she wasn't supposed to shed at all, she also had an intestinal parasite, the first week I bought her the vet find out. She eats her own poop, and I haven't been able to stop that from her completely. We pay over $1000 for her and if it wasn't cause we are so much in love with her she would be gone from my house. Our first time buying a Dog and it's been a really horrible experience. Don't recommend anybody buying pets from there at all.

I give this place 0 stars. I highly don't recommend buying a puppy from here. I bought a puppy months ago and she still isn't house trained. she pee's and poops all over our house. she also pee's and poops in her cage. we've tried everything to get her trained. and now she is starting to pee on our couch and on our beds. I've tried talking with the people at petland and they refuse to do anything. she is getting too old to be doing this. She has destroyed the carpet in our house which is going to be very costly to either clean or replace. When I got her she ended up getting kennel cough. She also has diarrhea all the time. This has been a horrible and costly experience. don't buy from them. I also did some research on them and found out that the dogs they get are from puppy mills and have been citied many time.

My wife and I purchased a puppy from this store. He had been at the store for months and had a parasite in his feces. Thankfully, we caught this in time, and Petland paid for it, but it has been months and my puppy still cannot be rid of this parasite. He had this infection before we bought him and had had several rounds of the medication. Petland never informed us of this. When I asked them, they got off saying, "You got the vaccination records and the medications given were listed on it." This was true, but if you are not a vet (which I am not), you usually do not know what the medication is for. Secondly, since I brought this infected puppy to my house (where I have another dog), now I have to get my other dog checked, which Petland refused to cover. My puppy also came with an interesting "cough." Originally, I did not pay any mind to it and didn't report it to the vet. It is kennel cough and Petland refuses to cover the vet costs. I do not recommend buying from here ever.

Petland is always the place to go for quality customer service and friendly associates. They get the job done, have amazing displays with a wide variety of animals and pet supplies. I've seen the information and I've looked up the registered breeders. The puppies aren't from puppy mills. Some pet stores might get their puppies from mills but not this store. The puppies are all happy and healthy and don't stay their long. They also keep them and lower their prices until the puppy goes home. The puppies come with free spay/neutering AND they're microchipped. I've worked at several shelters over the years and humane societies and trust me, these puppies are better off there than they are at the shelters or even in certain people's homes.
