I have lived here for 2.5 years, and overall have enjoyed the experience. There is currently new management (we have had a total of, like, 3 management changes since moving in, and they have improved every time and I think this one is here to stay), and they have been very helpful and understanding this year! As a resident, I have felt like my opinions matter and information about community projects or things that are being fixed has been dispersed in a timely manner.

Anytime we had an issue with an appliance they would come in and either fix it or completely replace it. Yes, a scorpion or two has shown up in the apartment (not nearly an infestation like many people claim we do live near the woods after all), but we have told them each time and they have sent someone in to check it out and spray. We WERE told a few summers ago they would be replacing the linoleum in our kitchens, and they got to many buildings in our unit but not ours because Fall move-in crept up on them and they never finished. But in the grand scheme of things, our linoleum wasn't torn up or anything, so it's not like we've been living in squalor.

They have really upped their game on community involvement and have started doing more resident events and activities. They have continually made improvements to the clubhouse and gym, which has been nice.

I'm not usually one to give 5 stars (I thrive on the 4 star game), but I have been so impressed with the lengths they have gone to to help fix problems this year, I felt thy deserved it. Even at it's worst, it's not been an unpleasant place to live by a long shot.

Amazing staff, great and affordable place to live at. Athens transit comes and goes so no transportation problems. Shuttle Bus runs on weekend nights so that's always amazing. Some minor issues that's the reason for 4-star. Maintenance is great too. Overall an inexpensive place to live at.

Move in was so fast and the staff was very helpful and friendly!!

Update: After living at Polo Club for one year I’m updating my review to accommodate for the way they have treated me. Leasing staff is always so friendly to me and they help me out any time I’m in the office. Maintenance always fixes any issues I may have very very quickly. Rent is a great price for the amount of amenities we receive! Can’t wait to resign my lease!

The polo club is an okay place to live. The maintenance staff is great. They always come within a day. The rent is a little expensive for what you get..the two bedrooms are really little and not nearly as nice as the model that they show you. They really need to update the kitchen (in my unit at least) and most of the appliances. The walls are really thin also, I can hear the upstairs neighbors all the time. Overall, the staff has been great and they try their best to make sure residents are happy

Polo Club is alright. The people in the office try to help out. New management is pretty organized. The apartments are a good size. Best thing is if you don’t bother them they won’t bother you. Thin walls though so if you want to have fun don’t live here because neighbors won’t hesitate to call police.

The staff is nice and does their best to try and help out. One of the down sides is that electricity and water for a 2 bedroom is like 220.00 a month, which is kind of ridiculous. My roomate and I still haven't been able to figure out why it is that much. The 2 bed rooms could be a little nicer and cleaner. Other than that, it's a decent place to live. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Honestly the worst management I've ever seen. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I would put zero stars if that was an option. The two bedroom apartments are tiny and you pay way too much for them. None of the security works that they advertise and they keep on saying they are working on it but nothing has changed. Anybody can get into the clubhouse because the gates don't lock anymore. The pool is dirty, there are always roaches everywhere even in the clubhouse. If you live downstairs and have noisy upstair neighbors good luck sleeping. My bathroom sink didn't work the day I moved in and didn't get fixed for two weeks because they said it wasn't a priority so I had to brush my teeth, wash my hands, and face in the kitchen sink. My laundry room was covered in cat urine and hair which I had to clean up. My key to the front door did not work, I went up to the office to get multiple different copies which never worked so I had to go have my own key made which I had to pay out of pocket for. I was told when I was on tour I was going to have a smart tv in the living room and all black appliances and I got neither. My bathroom was disgusting when I moved in, I had to clean everything. And the manager likes to reply to all of the google reviews and apologize to try to make herself look good but if you go up to the office to talk to her she's rude and doesn't care to help you with anything. Never move into the polo club. You pay way too much to live in trash!!!!

Being in a college, the Polo Club offers low cost apartments relatively near campus. The area has a decent number of businesses thought the apartments require high maintenance

Really unorganized, the manager doesn't appear to have any experience being a manager. I have offered her advise and tips to improve the apartment complex and their systems however she just shrugs it off.

I am prospective PhD student from India will be joining UGA this fall. I thinking of polo as my housing so can you tell me whether its furnished or not? What are the amenities that I will get from this housing?
Basically what are the features and amenities of Polo Club. What about the transportation?
I am very much interested in Polo Club and the rates that I saw on your website were very attractive.

I was a little nervous about moving in here at first but after a month of living here I like it. The staff at the office have always been nice to me. My apartment was a bit dirty when I moved in but nothing a cleaning didn't fix. There have not been any bug problems in my apartment, maybe a bug here and there but I have hardly seen any. It is a pretty nice place for the price and for student housing (it isn't meant to be a permanent place for people to live for a while). Yeah there are things that suck (loud parties sometimes, thin walls) but overall it is a pretty good living experience so far. Yeah maybe there are better options but if you are a working student like me you need something affordable. Polo club is affordable and a pretty decent place to live.
