The front desk staff is horrible!!! I’ve always had great experiences with the doctors. But the front desk staff is the issue. For one the wait time at the office is ridiculous. The front desk staff refuses to allow you to see the doctor if you have a balance. They do not let you make payments on your balance. The crazy part is the balance is because this office balance bills. My wife works for an insurance company. So understand completely how insurance works. There is no reason that I should have balances at this office, but none with my other providers. They are out to get your money! So DO NOT GO THERE!
Dr. Polly is a quack! She misdiagnosed my infant daughter and had me using their high prices products! I finally got a second opinion at UNC chapel hill dermatology and my daughter had basic eczema which cleared up within a week of ointment. I was using this quack doctors regimen for months as my daughters skin remained scaly, dry, and discolored! I am disgusted with her and she needs her license revoked ASAP! SHE IS A QUACK!!!
The Dr. was rude and was not well at explaining anything, spent less than a few minutes with me,rambled on into his voice recorder and basically was just a Real jackass. Abosolute no people skills And after going to this establishment I'm going to look for better patient satisfaction elsewhere.I would like to be informed of what's going on and not be a fast food patient. I would Highly recommend seeking healthcare elsewhere and make this place you VERY LAST RESORTI give it a negative 1 out of 10
Was a great place when Lana Van story was there after she left forget it. I will be finding another place to go after going here for years. The woman doc that replaced her I thought was not so nice.
Wait time is always rediculous..over an hour wait in the waiting room alone.,and we arrived early as requested! Then waited another 15 mins for the doctor. Finally ! This was a follow up appointment. We had to bring to the attention of everything we came in for. It took all of 8 mins. Their time is apparently worth more than mine! If you don't mind disorganization and don't mind waiting this place is for you.
I felt like I was a huge inconvenience to them. I got there 15 minutes early like I was told but had to wait on them for a 45 minutes. I had several people come in and ask why I was even there because they saw me in March. Uhmmbecause I have some moles that looked like they have since changed and wanted them to be looked at. Seriously? No, I'm here because I have nothing better to do. When the Dr FINALLY came in to look ay them, it took herNO JOKE20 seconds and then she was out the door. I hate this place and will be asking for a different referral. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
Worst place ever. There use to be a really good clinic some years ago near the hospital Dr. Kim, I honestly wish I could find her wherever she went because she would definitely put this hole place to shame. Went twice and never returned again. I hate being misdiagnosed. This place should be reported.
I was very satisfied with the service I received. I was able to get an appointment quickly and got the drugs I needed. The place might not look much on the outside but its easily the best dermatology you can find in Fayetteville.
The waiting room is always packed. I've visited this clinic twice and have not to date been called in on my appointment time. The average has been closer to one hour. No gripes about the physicians or staff thus far. I do believe that appointment times be honored because there are sometimes follow up appointments elsewhere.
First time referral to this clinic and I was running late. I called to let them know Spring Lake traffic was terrible. They told me that the policy was 15 minutes after the appt. I arrived right at 15 min after my scheduled appointment and was able to be seen an hour later. Staff was friendly to me but like the other reviews, I ended up waiting till everyone else was seen which I understand because I was late and they were on time. Dr. Polley was a nice guy but had some seriously long fingernails, ugh. 30 second appointment for me since all I had according to him was sun damage (years in the desert) and nothing could be done. Oh well.
The pregnant lady at the front desk with the short hair was extremely rude to me. After I saw the doctor he prescribed a cream for my face. The assistant said she would put in the order to the location I had requested. I went to that location and the prescription had not been sent yet. I called the next day several times so they can send it because I obviously need it. The assistant said she had sent it again and called to verify it was received. Lies. I called in the morning and gave it a couple hours still had not been done in the afternoon. They are unprofessional, inconsistent, rude, uncaring and have no regard for clients time although they make you wait until the last patient is seen if you arrive 5 minutes late. Also have the nerve to charge 80 dollars for missed appointments. I will be requesting another dermatologist office for my next visit.
Less than 1..only because the staff is usually polite.
Wait time is consistently more than 30 minutes, twice almost an hour. Even though they accept TRICARE, don't choose Polley clinic.
I had an appointment here for the first time 2 months ago. I was being seen for this rash on the back of my neck. Unlike other reviews that I have read, my wait time was minimal. There were only 2 other people in the waiting room with me. What I did not like was after getting into the room, I answered all the questions I needed to with the lady who helps the doctor out. After waiting another short few minutes, the doctor comes in with a new lady. He was in the room for a total of 3 minutes. After he checked me out and such, he walked over to the lady who was typing everything on the computer and told her what I was being prescribed. At that point, I asked him a simple question. He did not once look up at me while he was responding. And then he was gone.
I understand you're busy and you may have a lot of clients. But I just paid $60 to be given a foam and told to come back in 2 months for a check up. Why should I come back? I have canceled my appointment and will be looking elsewhere for better service for those that actually care about my wellbeing and not just a paycheck.
Expect to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes to be called back, most of the time more than that. Went to see Cliff Amos for a break out on my chest. He said "use what I'm using on my face." also asked if he could prescribe me something for hyperpigmentation on my face and his response was "it will go away with time." I find that funny because my brother sees a different doctor at Polley, and someone prescribed him an oral medication to make his hyperpigmentation go away faster. I don't know if it's laziness or what, but if someone comes to a dermatologist for help, the doctor should do everything possible to help them. I don't like wasting my time having a doctor tell me to do something I've been doing for months.
