  The view was great! The room Was very outdated, dirty looking, hasnt been painted in who knows how long. Had to pay 20 bucks to park and pay for these wrist bands that wear not mentioned. Will never waste my money here again!!!

  Information provided by owner is very deceiving!!! This is in regards to Sunbird West 1012. I know this is long, but it is very honest and I have pictures to support all my claims. When I saw other negative reviews I noticed they were from several years ago and felt that there had probably been some changes made. I made reservations 3 months before our planned vacation. I messaged the owner 6 days before our arrival day to get check in information and in his reply he informs me of a $22 parking fee, which would have been nice to know when booking. Once we arrived and go to purchase the parking pass and we're told about an additional fee we were not told about, which is $2.50 per person over 12 years old for a band that you are supposed to wear the entire time you're there. We go to the room and become even more dissatisfied as the room is not oceanfront as stated and the picture on the ad is not the same balcony, which we became a bit concerned about when the check in information said floor 10 and the ad says 6. You do have a view of the ocean, but it is on the side of the building and you can only see a part of the ocean between the condo and another hotel. The condo seems like a run down apartment and very outdated. Shortly after being there we also find out that there is not wifi in the room as advertised, only in the clubhouse and only available between certain hours. I did speak with the owner about this as I discovered this after calling the owner for the login information. He goes on to tell me how "most people" just go to the clubhouse to use the wifi, which of course most people want to be able to use it while in the room and not between certain hours. Pieces of the baseboard we're missing, painting chipping off all the cabinets, rusted pans to cook with, blinds missing slats, looks as if the place has not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time as the sliding down jam had dirt caked in it for no telling how long. It's bad when the can opener says "junk, do not use". The ad also says sleeps up to 6 people There is one queen bed and one pull out bed, which the mattress is so thin you cannot comfortably sleep on. We did find a blow up mattress in a closet and tried to use it on the pull out bed, but it wouldn't hold air. The one couch is broken on the left side, which is a visible problem considering you can see part of a board hanging underneath. There is only one Tv, which is in the living room and is about 20 years old and takes at least 5 minutes to warm up before you can watch it. This place is definitely not worth the money as it is and we found cheaper rooms in the same building through conversation with other people staying at the Sunbird.

  Very out dated chipped counter. Not cold water in bathroom sink. Water in kitchen vibrated the whole water system. Sink handles didn't match. The lady at checkin wasn't very nice. Never again

  We stayed in unit 909, & felt like we had just walked into a condo that had not been touched since the 1970's! The bedroom had shag carpeting that was so old and dirty that we washed our feet before getting into bed. We had paid for a queen or king bedroom, but the bed was just a regular/full size. The bed sunk so deep into the middle that we each could not stay on our side. There was a gash/hole in the hall wall that was viewed upon entering the front door. Our plan was to cook all meals while there because we had a kitchen. The pots were so old they looked like they were original to the 70's condo. Plates were chipped, and there was a dead roach in the silverware drawer. We did NOT eat or prepare any meals while staying there, even though that had been our plan. The kitchen tile floor was chipped and broken in dozens of places. There was only enough warm water, not HOT at all, for one person to shower comfortably. No screens on the window nor on the door to the balcony, so bugs flew in if you kept the door open to feel the Gulf breeze. Months ago, when we asked to see a unit to see if we would book there, we were shown a much better unit. We were told all along that we could not pick which unit we would get. We could not find out ahead of time into which unit we would be placed. But this place was a dump. We could not get our money back. This was a complete ripoff. Do NOT believe the pictures on the web site!! BTW, there is NO internet!

  Clean and comfortable 3 pools a little bit of a hike to the room but fast and no issues during our 3 nights here has a water fountain show every night at 0800 pretty cool. We were happy had 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds and washer dryer 2 full bathrooms great value and price

  We stay there every year , its always good , the room was great , service could be better but we were satisfied, they did take care of our concerns . looking forward to our Oct vacation

  You could tell it was an older complex but everything was kept up and worked. Right on the beach with plenty to do just out the back gate. Had a blast!
