I have been here, for 11yrs, as a homeowner. I am by myself. I think the gate and security, are wonderful! Every community, has ups and downs. I feel absolutely safe here.!!!!
Living anywhere, in NEPA, is not for everyone.
There are some, undesirables. Some use the side roads, to do their speeding. Some homes, that are used for short term rentals, are not maintained, properly. Garbage never cleaned up, grass never cut. I just finished, putting a lot of money, into making the outside of my home, neat and pretty. That is my biggest complaint. I love it here, these other homes, could just be a little cleaner.
I would like to thank our security, for their service, also our terrific grounds crew.

Its not just quiet living here but also beautiful year round, as well as it is safe with also just SO much 2 do no matter the season between all the programs & activities, & the fishing, boating, swimming, etc. As well as other perks I can't even think of off hand Offering so many amazing amenities also year round

Dump, do not buy a home here. Property values are the worst in all the Poconos. This place was awesome in the 70's to the early 90's. High taxes and high dues. This place will never recovered from its former glory. Gangs all over the community, heroin addicts everywhere. I'm stuck with my house and it will not sell. Only option is to rent it out. Please do not waste your money. Bad place for any decent folk.

Love our experience. Best Neighbors, best area, love our walks by the lake. I Always feel safe, every owner is fixing up their houses and property constantly. There are new house being built all the time. I couldn't love it more. There is always a patrol of PCP security going by. They do a great job clearing snow, everything. We really don't use the playgrounds or tennis or mini golf but everything is well kept. Every weekend when we go to PCP the place is better and better. No complaints at all here. I would recommend people live here in a heartbeat. I can't wait to retire and live here full-time.

I don't live here, but visit often. I visited the welcome center to get my pass, and even when I'm having issues remembering the lot the staff is very helpful. I try to make the transition as seamless as possible, but putting the lot number in my phone. I drive as if I'm on the regular road for a tad bit, then remember to go slower. My friend respect the rules and I believe that help her visitors to do the same.

I've lived here for more then 10 years and I loved of the first 5 maybe 7 years. Lately I would never recommend ANYONE to move here! This place went from middle class to LOW CLASS. It uses to be a recreational community till people were complaining that we didn't have many recreations just a bus to Atlantic city. So instead of having more recreations they changed the name to a private community. Now its a development! And they still over change our dues! They are building these houses all generic looking same over priced homes. They are moving in all these section 8 people from new York. These parents work in new York so their kids are alone all day doing whatever they like. The front gate is worthless! Even the staff will let you know. Ive been told about soooo many people just driving through the gate and they don't even know who they are or they say the person does it all the time! They beach water stinks! The pools, I wouldn't want to swim in! What are the dues for? If you call security they say they can't do anything before the real police come! This place is trash and I can't wait to get the heck out of here!!!!! Also like to add a couple years ago I was reading the reviews and I was reading about the trash everywhere I thought to myself that's not true! But it is now this place is going down hill fast! I can go on and on!

Ppl only judge the community because it's very diverse backgrounds that complete the community and of course wherever there are minorities, only the negative is publicly displayed.. How about our kids that excel in academics, sports and extra curricular activities? I see nothing but great ppl driving up and down the roads.. All my neighbors are very friendly and alert.. I just have a little problem with the Bears.. 😬😀So in conclusion I Love the community and its diversity.. I Love our little Privacy and the smell of fresh air in the Morning.. And regardless , it's not where u live but HOW U LIVE.. Two thumbs up to POCONO COUNTRY PLACE
