Great place to shop for nice clothes but the customer service needs work. The old lady was extremely short and impersonable. Almost wouldn’t go back to that one just because of her. Also, they don’t offer much when you bring items in.

Brought in a full bag of stuff including, Sperry’s, new Jordan 12s and new AF1s and they offered me 13.50 they didn’t even touch the new Ralph Lauren polo shirts I had in there with tag still attached, made no sense to me. rude staff horrible place to do any business old blonde haired lady had the nerve to get an attitude with me and tell me I couldn’t wait in my car for the hour 45 minute wait time estimate they gave me and she said I can just leave if anything, the one in Shawnee is 1000x better and more reliable staff. You feel a bad vibe in the air when you enter this store

I love to shop here because I get deals on clothes but when it came to selling my clothes I didn't get anything and neither did my boyfriend. I brought in an entire bag of clothes including new jeans and dresses and I got $5.35 for one pair of jeans that were worn twice, a pair of brand new unworn flip flops, and a nice shirt..not to mention the lady who took my clothes was extremely rude. I'm so disappointed in the customer service I received. I used to love going there and now I just don't want to and I want to let everyone know not to waste their time and gas money driving up there to sell their clothes because they won't get nice service or the money they deserve.

Waste of gas coming to this place. I brought an entire trash bag of good quality name brand clothes for them to give me $1.33!!!!! My clothes looked cleaner than the clothes that were on the racks!! Never again

This location by far has the rudest employee. I've read other reviews and I can assure you we are all referencing the same employee. I even got her name, its Samantha, she is by far the rudest, nastiest, most disrespectful person I have ever encountered at a store before. It took everything in me not to give her a piece of my mind after the way she treated me and my son. I will not be returning to this location and I hope no one else does either. It's a shame the manager hasn't done anything about this employee yet. It's been a day since I was there and it still makes me mad I'm tempted to return just to ask for the owner or manager so I can tell them all that happened. However, clearly from other reviews she has been behaving this way for a while and nothing has been done. Stay clear of this place!

They have the rudest employees. I was going to buy a dress and noticed it had stains all over it and when I told the girl about it to see if they could knock down the price she just said "We can wash it and give you a call" I said "I'm not coming back, so I cant get a discount on something dirty?" And they ended up telling me no. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

As a mother of five girls I have to find creative ways to purchase my daughter's clothes. Plato's closet is my answer!! We visit the store several times a month and we are never disappointed. They have so many things to choose from. I always make my daughters look here first for something they might need before we look elsewhere. Great customer service!!

I know most complain about the rejection of clothing, which I agree the standards are getting ridiculous, but I am giving the store two stars for staff. I felt like I was more of a nuisance than a customer. They we're not kind and looked pissed off the entire time.

I just visited this Plato's closet and was very disappointed at how rude the staff was except for the sweet girl that was very helpful at the dressing rooms. I thought it was very inappropriate that the older woman working there chewed her out in front of customers when she was doing an excellent job taking care of the people there. Retail service is largely represented by the faces that are working even more than the quality of the product. It's amazing how not one person smiled or even acknowledged me or my husband( other than the 1 worker). I'm giving it one extra star because dressing room girl saved your asses. If I visit again and the same treatment is consistent I will pass along the word to your store owner.
