Beautiful setting, wonderful ambiance, horrible experience in the room and felt the same with the staff. Between the running toilet which squealed like metal gears rubbing together, the smell of mildew in the room, ants in the bathroom and in the bed, and the staff ignoring our complaints. Would not recommend staying here.

Nice layout, challenging from black tees. Coming back from Hurricane damage. Newly renovated club house. Very nice. Very Friendly staff.

When we first arrived to the hotel everything seemed to be amazing. Pool looked great, and room did too. We were there for a wedding so kind of pressed on time. I went to take a shower to find out the hot water did not work at all. Being that we had an hour to get ready there was no time for us to go down to the lobby and get a new room. We notified the hotel when we left and they blamed us for not letting them know. After multiple conversation they offered a $25 refund and when I check my account after we left they had taken out $25 from my account. I called he hotel and they blamed me for that happening so I called my bank and they said this hotel 100% took money from my account the hotel has refused to fix their mistake. The hotel is great but the employees are absolutely terrible.

Overall nice place, but i have some concerns, the t.p. Is a little bit too far from the toilet. And the bathroom overall could use some remodeling. Our patio wasn't completed yet either.
Good place though! Would come again!

Room was nice for a $100 a night motel, but not when it costs twice that. I had expected something more. While it did have a waterfront view, i had assumed the view would be of the water. (I know, my bad for making that assumption).
Lunch on site was excellent, including the service.

Don't go during scallop season. Absolute insanity. Lots of drinking, kids running around screaming. Beautiful grounds. Room was okay. Dirty wet floors from the boaters running around wet from scallop madness. The chef is outstanding. Might would go when no boaters crazed

Beautiful on the river. Everyone is friendly and helpful. You can rent boats and kayaks from the hotel. Food was fantastic. Close to everything.

Good sandwiches and friendly staff. The club sandwich was definitely big enough to share.

Such a gorgeous place to stay and they have a marina there so you can rent a boat. Very nice place to book for parties or business meetings

We were very disappointed in our accommodation's. Do not book room 215. The carpets are old, outdated and smell like mold.
The facilities and area are not pet friendly at all.

I do have to rave about our private excursion. The 2 captain's were excellent, and our visit with the manatees was awesome. You could not of asked for any better adventure.
The resort could be very nice if they did some remodeling inside. And stopped throwing the fish carcass's right by the fish station. Making for a very fowl odor.
The restaurant in the resort definitely was not a good value for the money.

This is a beautiful place. Right on the river. The amenities offered could not be beat. Swim with manatees, kayak, fish, golf, play on a life sized chess or checker board, swim in the heated pool, eat at their lovely resturant. Wonderful experience. Rooms were small but, well appointed. Will return.

While the rooms are not completely updated, staying a the Plantation Inn & Golf Resort was an enjoyable experience. The outdoor pool is heated and there is a hot tub available. By the pool, there are large chess and checkers sets as well as croquet. It would be nice to have the outdoor tiki bar and indoors bar open later. The on site dive shop excursions to see the manatees are a definite must.
