Very nice view of Monkey Island. The Birds make eating outside on the upper deck difficult as two out of four of us "got lucky" and were pooped on by wild birds. At least our food did not get affected.

It was a good place to eat at. love the food and great view of the homosassa river. There is also this little monkey island that is so amazing kids would love it. You can also get there by boat or car. And the employees where really nice.

Great place with delicious food and drinks. Oyster shooters and fish dip are favorites. Nice view of river and monkey island. Highly recommended.

Had a great time yesterday! Coffee and chocolate in the food court, aloe plants for a dollar!, great customer service at the spa, art work is beautiful, and I even placed a custom order for a Chicken Apron, and the GNC store had just the supplement I was looking for, and of course there's Rural King where you get a free bag of popcorn! I shall return!

We got good deal here. Plenty of space.We had a good table near window. Out waitress was great, and she did great job. Our food was good enough to say. Nice clean rooms. Very spacious and comfortable. Fantastic pool.

We have enjoyed having family reunions here over many years. They are very accomodating and do a great job of maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Great place to enjoy each other and visit in a very beautiful location.

Great location for a weekend away on the water. Have a boat with trailor?Bring it. Docking and launching, easy navigation for Gulf access with local eateries on the waterway.

Absolutely the best place to stay if you travel to Homosassa. The resort has all that you need for a great time: a good restaurant, docks, pool, marina, bar on an upstairs deck overlooking the river and Monkey Island™. The rooms in Villas I and II are more recently updated than the standard rooms in Villa III; however, they are at a slightly higher price level. The "standard" rooms in Villa III are a bit dated and could use a renovation. I love going to this place and recommend it.

Fun restaurant, bar and gift shop. Cigarette smoke from outside lingers in the gift shop somehow. Happy hour nice. Food good. Fair prices. Get to watch people boating and monkeys. Fun waterfront atmosphere.

I love monkey island there. The restaurant is pretty good and had a nice view of monkey island. The lounge is pretty rustic and the bartender overworked and grumpy. The old Howard's Johnson's has been revamped again and had a rustic charm. The pro shop and marina is a little steep in price, but you can throw a hat and find a charter to catch a slew of fish. You can also rent your own boat and travel down the river to see manatees or up river and go into the gulf.

Had a delicious meal, with a beautiful view of the river. Food was in generous proportions and hot when we got it. I ordered a small side salad and it was more then enough to share. Their homemade dressings and dips are also delicious.

The pontoon boats have slow breaking down 40 horse motors. Unless you plan on piddling around the immediate area wouldn't recommended. Our fault for not checking out the boats before rental. What really set me over to write this review is this place is a scam. We've rented 6 boats spending $900 from this place over the weekend - reserved a week and a half early. When we reserved these boats they promised us a 10% discount which would save us $90. Surprise on the last day (as we are renting 3 boats) they're refusing to give any discount. The guy at the cash register says he's just an employee and can't do anything. The guy in charge refuses to talk to us. I'm writing this review as I've been sitting at the dock for an hour waiting for someone to inspect out boats. Taking our money back to where we were at last year right down the road.

While visiting the riverside resort there was a fishing tournament that was very exciting. However the main reason I was there was to show my friend Monkey Island. It is a very neat attraction that you should definitely visit if around the area!!
