Wonderful food and service. Great sit down meal with family. Not a fast food place to go in and out.
This place can be very good. I have enjoyed just about everything I've tried on the menu. This place can get kind of pricey, so just be prepared to spend a few bucks if you decide you want a glass of wine with your meal.
I was in the area visiting my mom and we decided to give this place a try. From the way we were greeted to great service and delicious food - everything was great. The owner, Vicki, checked in with us as while we were eating and even offered to take a picture of my mom before we left - thanks Vicki! We ordered the spinach salad, which my mom loved, and I had a pizza which had a great crust. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area.
POOR SERVICE, but great pizza. We waited 5 minutes to be seated (there were only 3 tables being waited on), employees walked by but completely ignored us). We sat outside then waited another 15 minutes just to order drinks and then another 5 for menus. A good 45 minutes later our food arrived. At least that was good. :/
Been here several times and have enjoyed it every time. The food has always been great, and the service is always good. The bartender Keith makes one of the best vodka martinis I’ve ever had. The calzone is big enough for two people to share and still take some home. Always great flavors on the food, even the non-Italian dishes. We’ll keep coming back. I forgot to take pictures of the food before we started eating, we were excited to start eating!
My family and I went to the establishment for lunch. I had 2 small children with me also. We went first went there, we used to get a small piece of dough and/or something for them to color. It helped us enjoy the time together and kept the children distracted until the food arrived. The last time we went there, I was told by a server that there was nothing available but there was a childrens menu with pictures to color. I asked again for something for something for my daughters and an older server rolled her eyes and said there may be colored pencils. After being treated like we were not welcome, we left. The food is really good and I understand that people have bad days, but it is wrong to treat a client poorly because of their children.
I just jumped online to purchase a gift certificate for my parents, when I noticed some of the reviews. I wanted to add my own personal review as my husband and I had a wonderful time when we visited and ate at Pizzeria Mimosa this past February. There was a wait and it was well worth it. The ambiance was wonderful and the food very good. Our waiter was a delight and the owner was adorable. I would visit and will visit again! Gracie!
Our food was taking an extremely long time to get to us so we decided to get our check an leave. But that wasn't the deal breaker.
The biggest issue I had was the female manager. She came up to us while we were already leaving saying that our food was plated. We declined the offering and she just left. Having worked in customer service for many years, food can take a long time, that's fine. But it's how the manager treats their customers after this happens that brings them back. This female manager yesterday was cold when she came to our table.
Because of just that action, we will no longer come to this establishment.
Still the best! This is one of the very best restaurants in the region. Great food and excellent service. Much more than pizzeria -- a fine dining ristorante. This is now our favorite place in the area. The recipes are outstanding and the ingredients are always fresh.
Beware of making Mother's Day reservations! Manager is hostile and extremely rude - even attempting to charge me for cancelling eleven days out!!
I made reservations a few days ago and was told there was a 48 hour cancellation policy or the charge was $25/person. Manager was very nice when I first called. My wife changed her mind on where to eat so I called tonight to cancel. The manager, "Jess", was hostile and way out of line. She would not give her name as I asked on the onset of the call. She kept repeating "how can I help you?" as I asked for her name repeatedly. I was informed that we were to be charged $25/person to cancel tonight which is eleven days prior to Mother's Day, not near 48 hours. I will be speaking to management, it won't end here for the poor manager on duty tonight.
This is by far the best resturant in the Ft. Huachuca/Sierra Vista area! The pizza here is brick oven, thin (but, not cracker) crust with very fresh toppings. Pricing is very reasonable for such delicious food!
Very friendly and attentive staff in a great little spot off the beaten path. That is, if your path doesn't normally take you within a few miles of the Arizona southern border with Mexico. If it does, then it's right on the path, and well worth a stop.
Menu has a good selection of eats, but of course you probably shouldn't go to a place with "pizzeria" in the name and not expect good pizza. A wide variety of unique base pizzas and a very robust "make your own" selection doesn't disappoint. Sized to share, they're also willing to divide toppings if you're planning to give a slice to a picky co-diner (I had no desire to share their namesake pie). A friendly and complete bar finishes off the experience for those that just can't do pizza without a beer, or other drink of choice.
Food is good. If there is only two people in you partydo not accept a two person table. Too small to manage the bread and antipasto. Prices are OK. The wait staff is very good but don't both if the place is busy. The kitchen is slow if the place is near full. 1 hour wait for your food minimum.
We had our Desert Automotive Christmas party here last night. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our server, host, bartender, busperson, Brittany was attentive, prompt, professional , bubbly and entertaining. I don't know if I have ever said a server was entertaining but she was and it made for a great experience.
I was impressed from the moment i walked in. The meatballs were amazing and so was the sauce. The staff was friendly and handled our party of 18 in their private back room. The fire pit & seating area was awesome. Don't listen to the few negative reviews. Check it out for yourself
