This train is most of the late There is never an explanation or apology. The system terrible. Not customer service friendly More respect should be given to the ridership
IAm Just Saying
First let me say the male night manager is very nice BUT
I witnessed the early a.m bus driver disrespect a Senior citizen VERY RUDE for no reason he drives bus number 6494 going to Columbus, Ohio [Eric Tibbs] He also disrespected the kind Amish family. This makes me want to cross the street to AMTRAK.
Respecting people with disabilities is a must.
ALSO, A FEW DRIVERS AT NIGHT WILL PLACE THEIR BAGS IN THE VERY FRONT SEAT THAT IS DESIGNATED FOR THOSE OF DISABILITY. Making people with disabilities sit further in the back. I travel a Lot and seen poor service in the city I am from & love.. I have tried to attached pictures of the drivers bags in front in the disability seats but couldn't. If I could attach pics I would.
Pittsburgh Amtrak is a cozy, comfortable, quiet, and historic environment. It's handy to Downtown Pittsburgh a block or two away. Has WiFi. I would recommend it for travel to Harrisburg, Philly, DC, New York, and Chicago.
Heading West!! First Time On A Train!!! Michael Would Love This!!😊😊
This is a smoking stop on the Capital Limited. Always very happy to see it.
Why complain? Set your standards lower and you will be happy. At least there's a train station The glory years of rail transportation are over.
This station is a disgrace. Old, uncomfortable & dingy. Fluorescent lights, hard seats, & coffee from a machine. PENNSYLVANIA STATION above & next to this abomination is a beautiful, old historic building that you would never know was there if you arrived by train.
The service here was pitiful. I must have waited for 20 minutes for an agent to tell me to go to another window. A window that I would've gone to in the first place had there been ANY signage. I didn't even see any real displays or screens with updated travel information. I was relying on an agent for updates through the muffled loudspeaker.
My 14 year old son took the train from Pittsburgh to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. The staff on both ends was fantastic. They have a great system in place for minors traveling alone. The staff was friendly, informative and a pleasure to deal with.
The train station is fine. They get you in and out with a liberal free baggage policy
Renovation passed due, for what its worth it gets the job done. Not sure if there's enough money to fix up this place but it is functional.
The station needs major updates. This city deserves better!!!!
I am surprised at the lack of direction in this whole establishment I have had the most horrible experience with them and the system Julie. I am having the hardest time reaching anyone in authority who can assist on a MANAGEMENT LEVEL. this whole transportation system needs an overhaul!!
This station is an embarrassment! For a city the size of Pittsburgh, we should definitely have a better-looking station. I was especially dismayed when I took a train ride to Lancaster and saw what a gorgeous station they have.
