Went to business school in Harrisburg. It was a quick and convenient way to travel from Lewistown in the 1950s.

Fun little piece of history here in Lewistown. My son loves coming down here and watching the trains go by! The train is usually pretty late though

I believe this is one of the oldest stations still standing from the Pennsylvania Railroad days. 2 trains a day stop here, 1 eastbound to Harrisburg, Philly, and NYC, and 1 Westbound to Altoona and eventually Pittsburgh. There's a very small waiting room. If you regularly commute by train, this station has a strange phenomenon; Local folks who are curious drive out to watch the train come in! Some times they loiter around and ask passengers lots of questions about where they're headed , etc. then spout railroad history; I usually just wait in my car until the train arrives.
