Handicap parking and seating available. Can rest inside or outside during the nice weather. Staff is friendly and helpful with food choices and always willing to accommodate any situation! Great choices of food for vegan, gluten free, etc!! Highly recommend!
Perfect sports bar location on south miracle mile. Large screen TVs throughout the venue make it easy to watch your favorite team and check in on the surrounding competition. The main screen over the bar will feature the sound and typically the bears game if they are on scheduleinstead of commercials they feature music videos between plays and totally makes the atmostphere high energy and fun! plus large featured craft beer options, awesome !
Order the chicken nachos and you will be a very happy camper! Service was friendly and fast. Large variety on the drink menu. American upscale bar food. Burgers, sandwiches, and a few entrees. The appetizers are the best and can work as your main meal.
This place seemed decent. The interior is nice enough, unfortunately we did not have two hours to spend on lunch. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables that were reserved. We had to wait on the waitress for an additional 15 minutes until we finally just left. I recommend going elsewhere if you work in the loop and do not have two hours to waste, there are plenty of comparable places to choose from.
I have been to this place 3-4 times in last few months. They serve good choices of beers and alcohol. The food is also very good. They have got good vegetarian and healthy food options as well. they are usually busy during their Happy hour, so reservation is highly recommended if you have group of more than 5 people. I have found the service to be very good during all of My visits.
We were seated quickly. Just was looking for a decent bite to eat before the Marathon. Our server was great and food was good too. We were in and out quick.
My husband and I ordered drinks off the menu and they were pretty good. I ordered an entree salad and he ordered the lobster mac and cheese. Both tasted fresh. The service SUCKED!!! After we ordered our meal no one ever came back to ask if we wanted another drink or refills on our water. I ended up going to the bar to ask for a refill on my water. Of all the restaurants on Michigan Avenue the Sweetwater Tavern can be missed.
The food here is consistently good across a variety of menu items including the buffalo chicken wrap, fish tacos, salads and more. A little more expensive for a pub, but we'll worth it for the quality you get (best tater tots!) and the Mich ave. location. Get there before noon if you want a shot at a private table or make a reservation. It's nice they have bar tables that are first come first served and usually available for walk-ins during the lunch hour.
I went there during their lunch rush but got a booth in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the steak/ shrimp entree. The portion size was a bit small but the food was delicious. The waitress Hayley was friendly & efficient as she refilled my iced tea a few times. I will be back to check out other interesting looking entrees. Also, it's in a good location for me as I use public transportation. The bus stop is right on the corner & there are a few different bus routes I can choose to take.
Can't speak to anything aside from service and beer, as those are what I sampled. Showed about 4 on Sunday - lots of passing foot traffic, but Sweetwater wasn't too busy (we had our pick of bar, indoor and outdoor). Due to my friend needing to catch a flight, we opted for bar and were politely instructed to grab a seat. Interactions with all staff was very friendly/pleasant. Bartender had laughs for free, was attentive and offered up suggestions based on our input. Great draft selection. Friend got fried curds/cheese/something-i-don't-know-i-was-drinking-what-do-you-expect-from-me and really enjoyed them. Definitely will be back before I leave Chicago.
Good location and good atmosphere. It was a bit pricey but that's understandable given the location. The food wasn't great (I had a Santa Fe Wrap) but I like their large beer selection.
Located right next door to the Hyatt Recency in Chicago, they have excellent burgers, sandwiches and salads at a decent price. Very easy to get in and out.
Want to watch some sports or hang out with friends after work in a big, modern, clean space? Check this place out.Excellent beer selection, good food and a nice brunch menu too. Legit beignes!
Great place for informal dinner. They have a huge selection of burgers (and each can be ordered as vegetarian), the option to handpick your choice of components for the perfect burger. also they have a broad variety of beers.
Nice place to watch sports downtown. There are some good food options that aren't too expensive. Drinks are priced about what you'd expect, not crazy, but not cheap either. I sat at the bar and service was excellent. My one gripe is that while my food came out super fast, the tater tots were cold. They clearly don't fry them to-order.
