Petes used to be the place to go in monroe. They are terrible now. The menu has dumbed wayyyyy down the food is horrible and the excuses as to why the food was cooked so poorly were sad. I will never go back. Do yourself a favor and go to clam diggers better food n drinks and prices!!!
A wonderful little waitress. dark curly hair. friendly , personable.. .we just loved her ! Left her a good tip because she deserved it ,😁
GET. THE. WINGS. P.S. Maddy M. Is a fantastic waitress. She strives to make sure your dining experience is everything you want it to be!!
Here on a Sunday night. Service was poor. Manager did not have a clue. They lost our order and didn't have an answer for anything. Party of six one person received their food, the other five went home hungry. We we never be back. Used to be one of our favorite places when up in the area. Need better waitoers and manager.
Relaxed, minimal background noise, informal atmosphere, classic car themed. Very reasonably priced, filling portions. Great comfort food, perfectly seasoned.
Decent food and decent service! Fun atmosphere! A bit pricey but worth it!
Unique car booths. We wanted to set in one but was up stairs, waitress cheerfully escorted us up. She had to run up and down to serve us and we appreciated that. The food is excellent. I had the Nash hambler.
Fun family place. Game room for kids to play. Wait staff very friendly and paicent with our large party, including young children and adults chair hopping to talk to each other. Oh yeah, food was really good also.
Pete's garage has been a casual Gathering Place for years. The food has always been good. The four of us were well served from beginning to end with more food than we could eat. My son Peter remembered when he was a child and at Pete's having the same food with the same quality as he had today. Peter is 40 years old Pete's has become an institution.
Atmosphere is quite unique with decorations of car related objects. Appetizer was quite filling.
Great food. Some of the best potatoes skins I got. If you going for a drink try the Long Island Iced Teas they taste nasty but they are full of quality alcohol.
14 bucks for a "seafood" platter. Described as Alaskan cod, clams and jumbo shrimp. What came out was two small fish sticks, breaded clam strips with more bread than clam, and the only thing jumbo about the shrimp was..Um.. Nothing.
I think we only end up here when we have a large group of friends. Staff is super slow, food is just bar food (tasteless, greasy) but the drinks are good. We never come here unless we have time to waste considering how long service takes more often than not.
I love this place. I have never had a bad experience. Waitress are always happy and wearing a smile. They don't mind to help you. And check on you often.
