This is where I handle all my business affairs. It's great because the poor and middle class are not allowed in unless they work there. Which makes them feel like my personal slaves, and I like that. If you are a Toledo Highfalutin potentate you really should join. Great Scotch and private rooms. The best chefs around. It's like a country club with no golf. Wonderful view of the burned out building on 16th street. I was fortunate enough to be having cocktails in the conservatory the day it burned down. It was beautiful. What a great afternoon. It's also haunted which is fun.

Downtown Toledo historic athletic club, having a bit of a resurgence with the rest of our city. The real charm is the community of members of all ages. The heart and soul is the squash club w/ 5 courts. There's a decent gym, track, and large lap pool. Showers with towel service, and suanas. Casual Tavern with a pool table. Fancy dining room if that's your thing. Many other hidden bars and rooms waiting for your next event. Check it out.

I have been here for a wedding reception and also a group dinner love being able to check out the building. It's amazing to think that when it was constructed, it was built by hand and not power tools. Truly a work of art inside and out!

The Club is historically beautiful and the dining room staff are great, but I was highly disappointed with the customer service of the event planner on site. We were interested in planning a corporate event at the club and our contact was very responsive until it came time to actually book. I requested a proposal over a month ago and never heard back - even after following up with her to book this venue.
