The front desk lady named Angela is the sweetest, and always thinks of ways to better your stay. We recently ordered pizza, she told us all about the pizza places around here. We went back to lobby to get lemonade she got us plates, napkins, forks and an ice bag because the pizza box doesn't fit in the fridges here, she said "I know how I like to travel" She is the reason why we would stay here if we're in this area. Stayed here 6 to 8 weeks this summer. This is just one example of how great this hotel and the employees are

Very nice staff. Room was a great value. Coffee was not so hot with breakfast if that's important to you.

The pear tree was a terrific value. It is by no means the nicest hotel in Terre Haute but it is a convenient location from the highway, affordable, and provided great service. The rooms were up to date with all amenities expected.

Incredible stay! Rooms are comfy and clean, friendly and helpful staff. There's several hotels in close proximity that I looked at first, this is certainly one of the best options here!

We thought the hotel was a nice place to stay and the price was decent, but the staff went above and beyond. They were friendly upon check-in and during our stay, but a few days later I realized I had left an item there..I called and they were going to have someone get back with me I figured that was the end of it..but today they called and are sending my item. That is above and beyond in my book! Thank you all!

I accidentally made reservations for the wrong day and the front desk person and manager kindly and efficiently booked us for that night with my online rate and told me how to cancel my reservation through Expedia. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and adequate, with particularly comfortable bed. Continental breakfast was a little sparse. Overall in was a pleasant stay.

Very nice rooms, but not as elegant as the neighboring Drury Inn. But it's very simple in appearance and design and it works. The staff were nice as well

Clean, modern, and updated hotel. Nicole was very friendly and helpful with checkin searching for the best rate for us. The bathroom was small and the shower head was low but very clean with great water pressure. The bed was medium firm, a little too soft for my preference but the room was quiet and we both slept great.
The complimentary breakfast had a pretty presentation and I included a nice variety-yogurt, 3 cereals plus instant oatmeal, doughnuts, muffins and bagels, waffles, juices, fruit and coffee. All included for $81 including tax and fees.response / report this review -

I was just checked in by the lovely Angela. What a WELCOME! She was really friendly and was very thorough with important details like breakfast times and available discount programs. The room was recently renovated and I would tell you more, but the bed is so comfortable I'm going to sleep.

Perfect spot to stop. Conveniently located next to a gas station and the highway, clean rooms, good rates, great staff, and breakfast. We stayed on the way through and the way back because we new it would be a good stop. I hardly rate places, but when a place does such a great job I think it deserves the recognition. Do not hesitate to stop here.
