I’m crying as I post this review. I usually go to the school and get trims on my hair but last Saturday 12/16/2017 was a nightmare! The girl doing my hair was in a hurry and chopped 11-13 inches of my hair! She layered one big chunk on the top and left a tiny bit of hair long. The worst part is that her professor came by looked at my hair and said it was fine. I could tell the other students were staring at my face awkwardly. I’ve had several people come to me at work and asked me what happened to my hair. I understand this is a school but the professor was almost rushing me out the door. The professor could have fixed my hair before letting me leave. You guys took so much of my hair off with out my permission and called it layers. I’m thankful that my hair is long but I’m scared to ever go back. If the student made a mistake, covering it up is not okay. It was short and chopped awkwardly but you could have tried to fix it or make it look decent before dismissing me.
Horrible. Do not go there! My girlfriend went there to get her hair dyed and they burnt her hair. She used to have really nice hair and now she has split ends and horrible hair. Please dont go there. Oh and did i forget to say that they ended up charging her like 80 dollars for messing up her hair. No shame!
They suck ! My hair came out green!! They charge me mor for what it was worth !! And they patched my head
It is a good spot for a pro barber cut. Thursdays are $7 haircuts for guys. The only downside is that since they are students it takes a minimum of 1h. But they try hard and do a good job.
it is awesome Hannah is my stylist she is great and also Mathew he is the Best. Both of them know what they are doing and will explain to the client what is really good for them For me it is very important to the Beauty industry to know really what their doing.
I no longer live on the west coast of Florida but when i lived in Fort Myers I went to the school for two years, every week for a wash and blow dry. I even went from my normal medium brown color to almost blonde!
I miss Paul Mitchell the School and the learning leaders, Cee Cee and Kelly. They are hard working, dedicated teachers which is reflected in the students and the results they achieve with their guests.
I actually went to a school here in Melbourne and I was severely disappointed at the students and the teachers. The lack of professionalism, the lack of training I found deplorable.
I believe that there is a need here on the east coast for a stellar school like Paul Mitchell.
Sincerely,
Judith McMahon
I went here to get my hair and makeup done for prom. They did well with the hair even though I just asked for a braid. All they had to do was straighten my hair and braid it. That took 2 1/2 hours. Then came my makeup! I looked like I let a kid just draw on me with sharpies! I have red hair and this girl took a black pencil and just drew two thick lines on me! I was running late for picture so I just left without complaining. When I got to the pictures I got out of my car and just started crying! On my way there I was scratching my eyebrows off trying to make them less bold and horrid. I made my parents go across the street and get makeup remover cause I would rather go pale bare face than what this girl put on me. Also their makeup choices for color was terrible if you wanted to go simple.
