Had a young groundhog starting to tunnel under our garage. I don't mind seeing them around, but couldn't allow it to dig away the support for the concrete floor. If you're not aware, they will create quite an elaborate system of tunnels if you let them. I'd only seen one, but of course where there's one there's likely to be one or two others.
Spoke to Lynda, who explained everything thoroughly and clearly, answering all of my questions. Rich came out the next business day and set and baited a couple traps. He did everything but have the groundhog version of Barry White playing on the radio to attract the little critter, and its parents if they also happened to be around. There were multiple baits, and scents, and a path of the equivalent of groundhog cologne from each trap into one of the holes under the garage.
It couldn't resist. Within a few days the trap held one that looked like the one I'd been seeing, curled up sleeping in the corner. I called Patriot and they were here later that morning to fetch the trap and relocate it.
After a couple weeks, the second trap still was empty, and I haven't seen any others around. So I've filled in the holes and calling this problem resolved for now.
Lynda, Rich, and Nathan all were both pleasant and professional to deal with.

Very pleased with the service received from Patriot after being referred for yellow jackets within the siding of our home. Lynda was pleasant and wonderful to speak to for scheduling. Eric, who came out next day, was kind, professional and knowledgeable. I know that we will continue to use them for any pest problem in the future. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for being able to come out same day, and charging reasonable rates. Chris was fantastic and knew what he was doing. He suited up, sprayed the powder various locations around the house, and recommended I go elsewhere for a few days before removing the nests. Turns out, there was a huge hornet nest in my bedroom ceiling. I've since ripped down the drywall, removed the nest, and patched the drywall. Turned a nightmare situation into a small 30 minute visit. Will definitely try to schedule them for regular service (although hopefully not for any more yellowjackets).

Patriot Pest control was the second business I called to take care of invasive Starling birds and hatchling in my bathroom fan vent. The first scheduled business did not call or show after I had to make arrangements for someone to be there while I was at work.
In the few days I had to wait for the second appointment, I was growing anxious listening to the sounds of the hatchlings as they were obviously maturing.
Eric showed for our scheduled service ON TIME and explained the service to me before completely the initial stage of enabling the mother to call her babies out without being able to enter herself.
Eric will be back to complete the project by disenfecting, removing the nest and treating for mites. I feel such a sense of relief. THANK YOU!response / report this review -

Eric came out on time and took care of our bird problem that day. He made sure the birds were not in the vent tubes and disinfected the tubes. He then installed new vent covers with metal, powder coated cages over the vent covers so no birds could again damage the vent covers. Very professional looking work. See picture.
