Our cousin’s rehearsal dinner was held here and we had such a fun evening! The restaurant is very long and has a second floor. We had the very back two rooms reserved and it gave us more than enough space. I will note that the steps to the second floor are located in the back room. So we did have people not associated with our party occasionally passing through. But this was such a casual evening that it certainly wasn’t a bother. This place is loud and full of fried food. Be prepared for a laid back atmosphere!
Our bride opted for us to simply order off the regular menu - it wasn’t limited or pre-set in any way. We were spoiled! Our table decided to order a bunch of appetizers to share and we had a great time. I think my favorites were the smoked wings (amazing smoky flavor and crunch on the outside) and the loaded tots (the beer cheese and bacon!!). The loaded nachos and cheeseballs were good, too. But I will say that I expected the nachos to have a bit more BBQ pork and the highlight of the cheeseballs was actually the dipping sauce (which quickly became too spicy for me). While I heard that the calamari was too chewy, I heard the pretzels were a favorite.
Good atmosphere and top drink selection. The experience could have been better if staff would have been more attentive.
Food was terrific! I had the Thursday lunch special chicken sandwich, and it was excellent. The vibe is really laid back, so you can expect to wait a minute for your food (not unbearably so, it’s just not a quick trip). I would definitely come here again.
Ordered Pasta Primavera with Chicken and my girlfriend ordered Grilled Chicken Salad. Nice portions. Food was "okay"..nothing specialnot bad either Just okay.
Atmosphere was that of your typical bar. Drinks were good (Jameson and Coke) and our waitress was attentive and friendly. It was an "older crowd" patroning this bar on this night.
They have three levels..we were in the main level sitting directly in front of a live band which they normally do not have on this level of the bar. We are big supporters of musiciansand we sat directly in front if this band literally a few feet awayand they were absolutely horrible to the point that we were embarrassed for them. Both singers werenot very good. The entire band was out of syncit was justsad.
Otherwiseit was just an average visit to an average bar in our opinionwith the only thing memorable was how bad the band was. Won't return.
Great food and atmosphere, service is friendly.
Nice and very clean food is always good great selection of drinks
The food here is flippin amazing. Friendly bartenders and easy going atmosphere.
We always hit up O'Shea's on our annual Louisville trip & it's always a blast. The bartenders are very friendly, the beer selection is awesome, and they make great cocktails. I typically don't like old fashioneds that are made with any artistic license, but their old fashioned with infused Old Forester & chocolate bitters was amazing!
Beautiful rustic bar with amazing staff. The atmosphere is very much like an authentic public house mixed with a speak-easy. For anyone looking for good food and a great libation, this is a place to stop and enjoy your compan. If anything else, belly up and let your worries slip away engrossed in diverse conversation with the wonderful staff.
This place was great. The bar had good selection and the bartender was friendly and quick. The DJ was spot on with the crowd.
Pretty nice place. Rude server though. I get it though dealing with a bunch of drunks
Billie was great! I got a hold of her at the beginning of the year asking about reserving a room for a surprise trip I was planning for my husbands 40th birthday in March! We are from Ohio and he's been wanting to do the Bourbon Trail for a LONG time. WE kicked the trip off with dinner at Parick O'sheas, Billie was more than helpful, she even got balloons and had the Tea Room decorated perfectly for the event! The food was great and the drinks were even better!! The surprise went off without a hitch!! Thank you so much!!
Went on St. Patty's Day at 4:30 expecting to have to wait. Party of 5 sat right down. Service was great and friendly. Adult beverages were good as well, food not so much. I had the fish. It was just that, fish. Side items were served in a container that would be uses for a side of dressing, maybe literally 2 forks full. Someone from our party had the corn beef w/cabbage. It was so tough, almost unfit to eat. The cabbage it comes with was basically shredded and hardly noticeable on the plate. Wife had chicken wings and they were so tough, we only ate 3 and left the rest of the order. I'm not one to complain, but for a $77 bill, it lacked this trip. We litterally walked across the street and ordered pizza from the pizza joint after we were finished at O'Sheas May take a while to visit again.
Our large group walked in around 10pm and they let us have our pick of places to sit and even tolerated us switching a few times. The service was friendly and very quick, and the food was surprisingly tasty for pub fare. Extensive alcohol list and I loved the selection of local brews on draft!
